Looks like my shit box has better cooling than a 458, cool.
Rennen Automotive: Race-ready brakes, 24/7!
Seriously, all of my cars have the slider turned up to 11.
I don’t blame anyone, including myself, for doing those.
They give better tameness and sportiness for a small decrease in fuel economy. Seemed like a fair deal to me.

Where Rotor Glow is a color of a car. Not the color of your actual rotors.
I think the list of folk who haven’t used brake cooling would be shorter :S
Right! Lesson learned, we need to explain the cooling sliders way better.
Can anyone think of a nice short name for that slider that explains it’s the percentage of cooling you’re stealing for the brakes?
Perhaps “Brake Divert” ?
or just do a thing like with the cam shafts the higher it is the more RACE it is and the lower it is the more ECO it is or however youd like it worded. Even at that im sure we would have caught the hint lol.

I’ll suggest “Brakes extra cooling”
So automatically the reader knows that the brakes are already cooled and this is an extra.
I would say something like: Additional Brake Cooling
but I’m afraid that is too long
Nah, it’s not that bad: yes it is supposed to be sports and race cars only, but you’re choosing it because there is almost no drawback. This is because we have not implemented engineering time yet. If you’d see how your choice of added brake cooling basically doubles the engineering time for your eco shitbox, then you wouldn’t move that one tick above zero. While we can and should explain this better, right now just go for it as you’d be stupid not to
Suddenly it all makes sense!
Then again I’ve never really made a “family friendly car” like, ever, so I wouldn’t know the difference. I just increased cooling until I reached 10% tameness bonus for brake fade, which appeared to be the max. Definitely will see how calculated engineering time fixes this!
(Also if that’s the case can we de-limit the number of wings and lips used? I like building cars that take an eternity to develop )
Yes, it’s the same story for wings and lips: without having the engineering costs, having many more subtle wings is better than a single large wing with big angle. Indeed we can get rid of that limitation once engineering costs are in the game.
Woohoo I love you forever!
(And yes, only two more weeks until I get home and can safely update steam again without worrying about getting cut off, meaning back to beta!)
