if you want, i can do a livery for you. just send me a screenshot. @Denta
nah, im already have my own imagination on my car liveries so if i sent request to i will cause pain a lot pain to you due too many request on details
No, iām fine i like photoshopping. thatās the reason i made 4 liveries for my brc. @Denta A lot of people have helped my on brc, and now i am trying to help back.
lemme make rough āsketchā first for liveries details, it would easier to explain via image. iāll sent you tomorrow since it already late night and dont think i able to finish it this night
Ok, got it.
said by the guy who usually go sleeps late.
(including me itās āonlyā 00:16am)
not really in the mood to work out in midnight, the feeling basically same as when people feel tired at noon.
plus if it comes to details i really need spent times to make sure it rights especially if i request people to make art for me
i actually posted that 20 moinutes before heading off to work. i wasnāt kidding. i didnt have access to all my steam games until yesterday so this i basically my car for test 5 and 6 with some minor tweaks.
Just looked at that car, now trying to cram unsexy thoughts in my head. Agh! I need a cold shower!!!
Now Iāve just looked at the other entriesā¦ Well, I may overtake DNFs.
If you want unsexy, iām giving you unsexy. http://media2.onsugar.com/files/2011/10/40/5/301/3019466/782a202ff498f708_beard/i/Unsexy-Halloween-Costume-Ideas.jpg
Trying to catch up after being away for some days. Donāt worry about strategies, there will be plenty of time for adjustments after the first official training sessions!
- Track humidity wonāt exceed the actual rain percentage when itās raining constantly. Be aware that the rain graphs are only a forecast and not absolutely true.
- Cars will be on the right tyres, yes.
- Itās not automatic. But they are be changed if you are within your pit stop window and a tyre change was planned. So make sure your pit stop window is big enough.
- No, thatās not considered. Very hard to do, and if the AI makes a mistake, I will get all your hate. So letās leave it 100% based on your parameters.
- Difficult to say. Depends a bit on the track as well. 50% is probably too high, 30% is a quite good compromise in most cases. The effect of damage slows your car down quadratically.
- R2 and R3 can be ignored. These are just placeholders for when I plan to do 3 races per race weekend (such as BTCC). R1 is the race strategy for each race and must/can be updated between races.
Iām open for any constructive inputs. We have a highly dynamic system which works well if set up properly. And we now have the weather forecast. I donāt know how to improve it, so please make suggestions.
Track humidity will be the same as the rain percentage at the start of the race.
Difficult to answer that. Usually it should make no difference compared to the game. If it still does, I donāt know the issue yet.
@everybody: If I missed a question, please ask again. I had ~200 posts to go through after this weekend, so it is possible that I didnāt get everything important.
My car with in-game liveries:
BAM Paginza 186 BRC: 1.8 liters of turbo fun
That is the BEST/CUTEST sponsor logo by a mile, love the Shnell!!!
Your car sounds the same as mine, lets hope we do good!
36.8!
My original entry was a FR with .96 difficulty, but only managed 2:06.20 on ATT flying lapā¦ I am entering an untested risky car for the full season.
Thank you for that.
On first glance it does seem like some cases could fall through the gaps with the current pit options. But as you say, itās not easy to make the system better. If something strikes that might help Iāll be sure to pipe up.
In other newsā¦
Some of you may have noticed me gnashing and wailing earlier in the thread about my NA having lots of mistakes in the tests. That was a 3.9l NA V8 RR pushing 471hp with a drivability of 0,98 and did the ATT in about 2:07.5 on sport tires. It also made three 75+% mistakes over the course of two tests, one of which was about 95% which pissed me right off.
So I figured, if my driver is going to die upside down, on fire, he might as well have some fun first.
I give you the Howler Godiva RSF MkII
(The F stands for Mr Fahrenheit which is the engine family)
ATT 2:05.42
Engine Reliability 31.1
Safety 23ish
Cambers 1.2 and 1.7
Difficulty 1.6 (The version in test 5 was 1.4ā¦ Does not bode well.)
Should have enough fuel to go for two stops, after I added the BIG bumpers and a bit of nose/tail to increase the footprint and fiddled with the engine. Weāll see.
You may also notice the AeroBarā¢ on the front bumper. When one of the jacks breaks again, it will provide Bob, Rob and Job a place to grab hold and lift the front end for a tire swap. And when the car goes fast, it generates some rather improbable looking downforce.
Also good for bumping into things by the look of it, so if you see the Godiva approaching at speed, make some room
Posting engines, huh.
so, why only 427 horsepower. Itās probably low cam profile for economy, right?
iām pretty sure 427 from a 4l v8 is not bad. something like mid 80s cam profile?
hereās mine
high rev = high specific output. V12 FTW
Well, if it has god economy, itās a great engine. Late 70s engines were horrible. One mustang had a 5l v8 with only 200hp and something like 10mpg.
I managed to get these stats from an 87 profile cam (+2 Quality) Even without the quality it still makes around 520hp, but I have no idea how I got fuel economy out of a 6L V8ā¦
iām pretty sure itās because EMISSIONS.
well the 2-way cats to be exact, rob power, and fuel economy.
fuck my engineās expensiveā¦ and has low efficiency too
