What.
I said to my boss “I want to stay at home day, i worked enough the last day” and he said “Okay. Enjoy squatting and hardbass”
no really, he said its okay nothing else. I wanted to watch the training session as first and give comment about it. Russian commentary you could say
Where is training! @der_bayer we want training
sorry of impatience, but it was post poned already
Training sessions were done before the season.
The practices are not live streamed, nor is there any commentary. They’re just YouTube videos that we can use to gauge our pit strategy. Commentary and live streams only happen for the races which are typically well advertised on the thread.
Don’t go out of your way to skip work for a practice. Make a note of the live stream schedule and work around that if you can. The video is recorded to YouTube for future playbacks as well.
Here are the practice results for race 1. Please use the results to set up your strategy if you want to change your default strategy. Please only send the *-Info.lua export of the BRCTool. If you have any questions which are not yet covered by the readme file of BRCTool, please ask here.

@NormanVauxhall Less than a tenth of a second, I hope Znopresk is ready for a fight of the production cars!
well… my tire wear is really not ideal… it’s not as high as i think it would
this is gonna be tricky. too much wear for 1 stop, but not enough to justify 2 stops…
dammit, i didn’t put enough camber… and you’d think -2.2 on all 4 tires is gonna destroy the tires…
Looks like a lot of people dropped economy for speed following the results of test 6, my once thought horrible economy is now pretty good in comparison, will be interesting to see how it plays out with pit strategies.
Damn. Was hoping for better than 35th place this early on, but I guess my car is weaker on this track. On with the pit strategies!
as long as your name isn’t trollercoaster. you’re pretty good on fuel
Had some time to spare and too excited, so went ahead and did some calculations
I shouldn’t have, cause it predicts me dropping 5 positions from Qual down to 15 th
At least not as rough as for Trollercoaster, who is estimated to spend 3min20sec on pits
But cup is cup and anything can happen, really looking forward to the real deal
Even before the actual race and strategy planning it seems you will make it to the points at least
Nice, but you should use median laptimes to disregard the driver errors!
Totally unrelated to the performance of my car: The track sucks!
happy with fuels but not happy with rear tyre situation, at least im happy with the straight line . now i wanna see how much difficulty threshold playing in race
How long do we have time to submit a strategy before the race?
Also, the irregular stop at % race time setting does not work for stops caused by weather, right? (So if there’s a rain spike in the second last lap the car still stops?)
You have at least one week to submit your strategy.
The “don’t stop” intervals work for rain, too.
I guess the fuel efficient cars can manage going 2 stops (wet/inter + inter/dry) but can the fuel guzzlers?
But who knows if it is the faster strategy going 35-45 laps on one set of tyres?
@Der_Bayer I have a question: for example: if the rain at start is at 65 % and i set my strategy to switch to wet at let´s say 70 % and switch to inters at 50 %, on what kind of tyres do you start?
Hmm, looking at my car I don’t think I’m even gonna bother with adjusting strategy, I’d be better off with a priest.
Top few cars are extremely close to one another, but happy to see I placed first? At least according to the best lap CSV.
I really like where the tire wear ended up building this car completely blind. The fuel usage isn’t even too horrible.
Going to be a very interesting and fun season
It seems Puffsters magic google doc puts me at 2nd overall with pits, assuming everything goes perfectly. Strategy is going to be super important.
