Ah, ok so, my problem is this.
3 stops is the fastest strat for me
yet it only gives me 2 laps extra fuel per stint. So I can’t stop early or I won’t make it to the next planned stop. So if unplanned is more than 2, I don’t make it, but if it’s 2 or less laps, then I could stop twice in three laps depending on the weather.
In chat FrankNSTein explained that I can use race time to prevent stops for weather changes. So I’ve set it as 50-51. Of course, if I get damage I’m in trouble, but eh.
Basically, I ONLY want to change tyres at my planned stops. Hell, I don’t want any irregular stops at all.
Also I am on rain 100% because I don’t want to use them.

Sabotage would be telling @Absurdist to put it at 0% so that he starts on wets and stays there. hahahaha

That sounds like it would work, unless as you say your car takes any damage. In that case it could be pretty bad.
However, that also means you need to have your compound percentages set so that you will have passed them by the time you stop (or you’ll be stuck on intermediates for another, possibly dry stint).
Yup to both, I think I’ve got the %'s fine.
On the other hand, plz don’t hit me.
My other alternative of course was just using endurance mode

yeah, but if i only want to change one thing…i have to remember what everything else was, or dig it out of the lua file. Maybe next season we can have a load button to load our own configuration for this purpose. 
Does the damage in a crash differ with the weight and speed of the impacting car?
