Hm, yes correct. I like observing sector times, too, but it is a bit much information in general. Maybe it is time to overhaul it when another bigger feature is introduced (for brc 86). So I’ll just add the letters for the tyre profile like the turbo symbol for now.
waitwaitwaitwaitwait there’s no normal brc76?
also sorry to be the buzzkill but, is the name ‘practise’ instead of ‘practice’ intended
Who said that?
Yeah, the spelling issue was already pointed out yesterday on IRC. I will try to avoid it in the future
well you skipped to talking about the brc86… nevermind, i just assumed that without any basis.
so i predicted right, my main car isn’t that competitive… but on the other hand. YAY for best fuel consumption. also yay for optimal fuel band.
although… genjeft… 3% tire wear? O_o what’s your car camber?
He is the only one on hard tyres.
Will it be possible to show a “Ghost” lap time?
I.E. the best sector times, for all drivers, added together, to get a “perfect” lap time?
Hm, only in the final statistics overview probably. Because during the race it does not really matter and there is no more space anyway
Haha, my second car is better in every single metric, I’m starting to wish I had just ran two of those.
Well, my main car is slow, but at least it’s fuel efficient. And the tire wear ain’t bad, either. If only this were a pure endurance race…
My second car has awful tire wear in the front and very little in the rear. It’s MR, has 679 HP and a stupid amount of torque. I’m also fairly certain it oversteers when the grip reaches its limit. The wear was 13F/4R at one point. I can’t quite figure that out. Could it be the front brakes locking up?
My primary car is almost identical with less weight and thus less power, but it has almost perfectly balanced wear.
I will take a look.
A lot of front camber?
It is just the other way around. 13R/4F. The left value is rear tyre wear.
…that makes much more sense. That’s what I get for looking at the video on my phone and not loading the results on my computer. Please excuse the derp.
Haha, I thought you had broken the game. (And was a bit jelly I hadn’t found it first )
5th and 7th… I am blown away. Looking at average lap times, fuel usage, fuel efficiency, and a few other factors, it looks like I could have significantly increased my fuel consumption and been first… easily… The V12 powerhouse is amazing and if pits work out well I am looking at top 5 for Odin easily!
Good luck everyone!!
I’m using a lot less fuel than I originally thought. is anyone else finding this? I’m finding an R consent of .6 instead of .75 is more accurate for fuel calculations.
I used r = 0.7 and calculated a 35 (or so) minute run on a full tank, while in practice I got up to 45 minutes.
When I re-ran the calculation with r = 0.65 I had around 42 - 45 minute run.
When I cross reference the provided Practice Results I see that one of my cars fuel calculations lines up with .6 and the other with .5
This is freaking me out man
It is just a “fudge factor”, and has the possibility to change based on the car you build and the track you race. If you choose a large wagon and use steel body with a ladder chassis, then a higher r value is more appropriate, and if you choose a compact with aluminum body, it will have a smaller r factor than the wagon. (relatively)
At least, that’s how I understand it.
But I think you may want to recheck your calculations, as anything lower then a 0.55 for this track (Hockenheim) says something may not be adding up.
I think @Packbat had said this track would be a high-consumption track and thus would require a higher r factor of around 0.7 or so. (but don’t quote me on that)
