Due to a computer issue, combined with the server issues Automation had, I’ve lost all my Pegasus models, except 1. This is not it. The Porter van, despite my best efforts, doesn’t score higher than 99 in any category. However, I have re-created the Courier. For lore reasons, there was never a sedan, but in this case, the sedan trumps the coupe by a good 20 points. Also, it originally had a 1300cc OHC 4 cylinder, which I have replaced with a 1500cc pushrod 4 cylinder. I bring this up, because anyone who visits my company thread will likely note the differences. All of my lore, is based on lite campaigns that I ran: That being said, if I had ran this in my budget campaign, I may have broke the high score.

Anyway, enough boring exposition; the sight you’ve come to see. The Pegasus Courier Sedan. At $5,728 with 0% markup, and 49.1 hp @ 4000 rpm, 73.1 lb. ft. of torque @ 2500 rpm, topping out in 3rd gear at 76.0 mph.

The first Womble poses outside the new Wentworth factory

After the horrors of WWII, Sir Reginald Wentworth decided he needed to build a small sports car to help the returning troops re-acclimate to civilian life. Using his connections within the Ministry of War and BMC (Bleurgh Motor Company), Sir Wentworth procured a number of ‘A’ series engines and paraphernalia with which to build his dream upon.

Having no idea how to design or tune an engine, Sir Wentworth scoured the Ministry of War’s labour pool, looking for an engineer and architect to make the Womble possible. Sir Wentworth was able to recruit an aircraft designer, Percival Smith, and an aero engineer, Harold Brewer. With the help of these men and a workforce of underpaid women, the Wentworth Womble was ready for sale in March of 1946…
