Build 150409 lua errors when attempting test track

I recieved the errors in my screenshots (sorry for not cropping, I forgot) when I tried to run an absurdly high performance car on the test track, I clicked start and then these popped up and it never ran the simulation not quite sure how to go about it but if neccessary I can go back and find the exact parts/setup I built it with

also, thanks devs for making an amazing game for petrolheads and gearheads alike to play

Your car is probably lifting off and blowing into a million pieces on the straightaway, because you’ve got a ridiculous amount of front lift going on there (and even more rear downforce). It may be able to get to speed on a flat surface but crests etc. will affect that. It’s just like how LMP prototypes occasionally have a nasty habit of turning into accidental planes.

You’ll need a minimum amount of front downforce to fix that, try moving at least one of your aero fixtures to the front.

you think so? i’ll try it and see but i’m leaning towards it has something to do with the 405mm rear tires on it

Exactly which body are you using to have 405mm rear tyres and such a heavily rearward biased weight distribution?

Having generated innumerable examples of this error, I doubt tyre width has anything to do with this. I suppose anything is possible, but I’ll start with what I know.

Strop’s correct. Look at the error message again. In essence, it’s saying your car is so ass backwards it literally can’t math.

Which, now that I think about it… may be an achievement unto itself.

@strop

IIRC the LMP body can fit tires this wide.

@Nglycerin

Like strop, I am 90% sure that your problems are caused by the large amount of lift at the front. I would recommend adding down force at the front and see what happens with that.

oh yeah that’s right, I forgot about that.

Additionally, I dunno about this version, but what I do know from the last version was that this car, at the extremes, demanded an unusual amount of front downforce.
