Today, i present to you the story of Cahill Motors, an ambitious British Sportscar firm that was founded in 1955.
There First model was the Sport, An Aluminium bodied 2+2 premium coupe with a 2.2L , Direct Acting SOHC 4 cylinder that revved to 5000rpm created a modest 95bhp, but still topped 100mph. a lovely beginning to the saga

Anyway, after 3 years of production, the Sport was becoming a rather popular little model, and the American market seemed to enjoy it too. Realizing this, Cahill Created the Sport Americana of 1958. This was a subtle redesign of the exterior along with some new fixtures and fittings, but the main change was the addition of the 5 liter pushrod Crossplane V8 with a 4 barrel carb. developing roughly 175bhp.
In 1961, Cahill decided to end the production of the original Sport model, and boy did they go out with a bang.
To celebrate there class victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1960, the Released the Sport LM, a 3.5 Liter 2 seater Fastback coupe version of the Sport with a DOHC 12v I6 with a startling 222bhp and a 140mph top speed, this car was limited to 25 units.
In 1962, Cahill developed a new, smaller model, The Europa. This 2 seater sports car was produced until 1970.
It would set the template for almost all Cahill cars after it, with its Fiberglass body and Unitary construction. the Europa was powered by a 2L overhead cam I6 with roughly 120bhp
