Since I installed the game many years ago, I haven’t gotten the updates since the install. For example, I still don’t have the supercharger etc. and I can’t figure out how to get the new versions of the game.
Updates for Automation happen automatically through Steam.
That said, the Al Rilma Update - which is the update that has superchargers in it, among other things - is still in testing. If you want to access it right now, right-click on Automation in your Steam library and go to Properties → Betas, then from the dropdown menu choose openbeta - Al Rilma Update Open Alpha. The game will automatically update at that point.
