Car Replicas

2015 Mustang (well, or at least something that resemble the Mustang a bit… )
I attempted to recreate a Citroen Saxo 1.1i X in both looks and the engine.
There are a few differences, but I hope you think its a good ‘first try!’

Here is the engine:

And the model with stats:

The looks aren’t perfect, but i’m really pleased with the stats as they closely match the original specifications for the real car.
But progress is change… (or somthing like that)
Well, it’s a bit faster than the original :stuck_out_tongue: (just kidding, you might need to adjust the engine settings for a bit more power).

I made this replica and Im really interested if some of you gonna recognize it, should be pretty simple :sunglasses:

Mercedes Benz SLR?

Yes

My first car… the Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe (albeit with a slightly more modern design).

Quoted real life specs:
0-60: 8.59
1/4 mile: 16.48 @ 85.1 mph
Top speed: 143 mph
Skidpad g: 0.82

About the Saxo, I own one.
It has 54HP or 60HP (according to the model) with the 1.1 engine. (which I own)
Also, the indicators on the side are located way more down. Take a look on my cartopic in the My Ride part of the forums

Here’s my '76 VW Golf MKI GTI replica:

And the engine that powers it, which I’m most proud of because of how close I got to the real thing:

The engine has exactly the right bhp at the right RPM, and is within 0.5 ft/lb of torque at the right RPM. The top speed is a few mph off, but the 0-60 time is spot on. If something has been noted down on carfolio.com then it is on this car. Also, I found the size of the brakes from a spare parts website, and the weight balance from Forza. The only major problem I have (other than my lack of artistic talent) is that you can’t put the front indicators on the raised plastic bit.

That Golf looks pretty good to my eye.

Here’s my Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. I got all the specs almost right, but i forgot to take pictures -_-

This car still needs some side skirts and a more square-cut back :stuck_out_tongue:

This is my Mini Cooper S 2006 still need more details to look better but that was the best i could do :stuck_out_tongue:

Here’s my best attempt so far at a recreation of the BMW E-30 325i.

Well, just finished my E28 535i replica! I also created the M30B35 engine to occupy it. Gotta give a shout out to salen00b for attempting this before I did, and before there was such an easy model to base it on!

I made an alfa romeo.
