Hey all! I am having an issue, presumably with the steam cloud system(?), that is causing edits I make in Automation on one computer to not carry over when I open the game on another computer. I have experienced the issue even with days or weeks between opening the game. Edits from computer 1 don’t show up on computer 2 or vice versa. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
Do you have Steam cloud sharing turned on, on both machines?
If you do not, it would be prudent in that case to manually export your cars that are different on one of your computers as .car files, then importing them into the save database on the other one, BEFORE turning Steam cloud sharing on.
That is the correct setting, yes.
It’s very odd indeed that your database isn’t transferring over exactly as it should, from machine to machine. You’re not doing any account sharing or using Steam Family Share, are you?
I believe I might have Steam Family Share on, but shouldn’t it not matter as the two devices are running the same account?
