Cheap hooligan engines

if i remember right they plan on adding inline 3&5’s and V6-16’s[/quote]

Not to mention I2s (hopefully) and Boxer engines (almost certainly). There might also be W8, W12, W16, W18, Wankel Rotaries, and Inline 8. And probably no V14s.

I think we can scrap the Wx and L2 and ask for flat-twins and V4s instead.

Getting back to the OP’s original topic…

Here’s one straight out of Ardent’s existing stable (as evidenced by the 1998 build year). The Taurus “Killer” 4.8L V8, from the 8th generation of the motor series (and first iteration of this displacement). Or, the short designation… TK8-H.

Don’t like 500+ pound engines? You like V8’s but also want to be able to parallel park your car on a pad the size of a doormat? Alright… have an Antares series motor! (another slightly off build year, since this product’s refresh cycle was in 1996 then not again till 2004).

Behold! The weird-arse AD8-G 2.4L V8! Cheap to build, mostly cheap to maintain, and better reliability than the Taurus to boot!
