hi. I got this game last week and ever since i ported my first car into BeamNG, anything chrome turns white. ive tried clearing cache in BeamNG along with other things. even the dash steering wheels and the yellow lines on the chassis turn white. does anyone know how to fix it?
Sometimes, fixtures have chrome materials that port over weird. To avoid this, you can manually create a chrome material and apply it to the affected fixtures. They should then no longer be white.
I’ve seen this happen on the small bumper bar/trim pieces, and it’s fixed by applying the default (the one that appears in the material selection screen) chrome material or creating one’s own.
