History
Back in 1946 three Students of the University of Fruinia, got together with one dream: Building their own Car. With the help of the professor for mechanics, Gave Drohl, they created the Concept of a usefull economical family car, that could run on any kind of fuel (RON80+).

The Cruiser Concept
Engineers: Hames Jetfield (Chassis), Bester Chennington (Trim), Torey Caylor (Engine)
After a little less than 3 Years in the making, the Concept became reality. Mr. Caylor created an one liter I3 engine that produced around 26 PS and 64 Nm. This little engine ran on RON80 and required almost no cooling. Meanwhile Chennington and Jetfield set up a chassis with three different trims based on the Concept Jetfield drew.

Only thing they needed now was Money. After asking all of their relatives, they still needed millions of dollars. Since the banks didnt want to lent them money they started thinking about qutting. Just this second professor Drohl called them. An old friend of him, he met some days ago, wanted to invest money, he inheritted, in them. The only problem: He wants to choose the companys name and get 49,9% of it. His name was Nathan Cross and since then the car company was named Crossworks. Six month later the factories started production. In the first month the Company sold a total of 1870 cars (551 Coupe, 293 Family, 1026 Utility) which generated a profit of around 6,4 million Dollar.

The Crossworks Sparrow
3 Years later (1952) around 62.000 Cruiser have been sold and H. Jetfield, Headengineer of Crossworks, announced their next big Projekt would come out Summer 1955. This time they wanted to make a more luxury summer car but still keep the engine concept. The Sketch of the Crossworks Sparrow looked very promising. You can clearly see some styling similaritys, but also some improvemets. The new “mouth” looked more sporty than the old one. With the new Model, Crossworks also announced a new color: carolina blue. The new model will also be available with the old colors auburn red and iron grey.
The Fruiana News
01. August '55: Crossworks sold over 1700 Sparrows
You may remember Crossworks as the ecofriendly family and utility car company but with their newest model the game changed. Crossworks started producing The Sparrow a buget premium sportscar. Thanks to its 799CC I3 Engine that produces 32 PS and 56 Nm (RON70) it is able to drive up to 130 km/h. Just looking at its size and power you might think it would be thirsty AF, but compared to its Father the Cruiser it produces 23% more power and uses 6% less fuel (compared: Family-Premium). When it comes to the weight it lost about 135 kg thanks to lightweigt building. All in all you can say the new Sparrow is a light premium sportscar.

The Spear concept art
Inspired by the Low Octane challenge and the ABL we decidet to weld together two of our 799CC Sparrow engines and got the I6 1598 Spear engine. The Spear engine doesn’t simply multiply the Power by two, it multiplys it by three. Due to this experiment and the fact that we sold our 250.000th Car, we decided to build a car that would profit of this power gain. After some calculation and a lot of coffee, we came up with the Spear R-Line. A road legal Touring styled car with a weight distribution of almost 50:50 and nearly 100 PS (92RON) and 129Nm. The Comfortline uses the same engine trimmed to be more silent and run at RON80. Sadly this engine has less power and torque.
