- How many clashing stylistic elements do you want at the front?
- YES.
Ford really was at a move then. Frogeye Scorpio in Europe. Ovoid Taurus in the US. AU Falcon in Australia.
It is essential that the the body that your are using does NOT have open wheels, or in other words you need to be able to place fixtures on top of the wheels
Step 1 is to cut out the shape, which I marked in blue. You can change the shape to be taller or wider ofcourse
Step 2 is to fill in the gap with angled patches, which I marked in green. I personally used a large piece to fill the gap completely, and afterwards used smaller ones on the edges to remove the gap between the body and the big angled patch.
Step 3 (optional) is to add the diagonal shape next to the front wheels. I used decals for that, shown in yellow.
Step 4 is to cut out the wheel well with cutouts so that the fixtures dont go into said wheel well.
And you’re done!
Here is the result as well as some other angles of the vents:
Feel free to ask me any questions ofcourse
I‘d love a video demonstrating how to do this, otherwise, its a really great explanation
