2024 KINGS ARTEMIS GT

ok we have this interesting design from @azkaalfafa, this is being both muscle and luxury? whatever it is its a good design

ok starting with this front end is pretty tame for how large this car is lol, i really like this round part that is in this front end that also goes into the rear end, the grill flowing into the headlights is a nice touch and that top intake also flowing with that line is a great touch.

going into this rear and and wow this is a really great rear, from the shape to the pen to the king :grinning: this whole stance is super solid, the lights flow from the side and has this F like shape and that blacked out area bolds out this rear. the diffuser is nice and small but again you bold out the shape with this black, and that circle thing thats also in the front comes back here and works really well, super nice and thick rear.

this side profile is super nice and square, kinda sad that the taillight line doesn’t follow the chrome trim line but alot of this something you can work with

the small vent here in the fender is another really nice feel and goes with the design well

another interiored car and this has a really luxury feel to it

very epic

2025 Kings Eider

the first sports car here and its from @hjuugoo and this is a really greater looker from just the first look

ok starting with this front end and wow this is a nice a mean look but at the same time has this happy look to it, starting off to this bottom half of the car and this is the look i love, this is MEAN, but this top headlight part kinda makes it less meaner with its more simple shapes and imo this really needs a diffrent shape up here, ik you need them for being street legal but yea this is a super nice front end

now back here again man this is really really good, i love this angular shape and how it kinda points in while still being wild and bold, these lights are really solid and i can see you can took that shape from the huntsman. and wow i like how the lights flows into that side line, speaking of the side

this side is a really solid idea but might need some better feel to it, first that line that wraps around the whole car is really good and is implemented really good. i like this greenhouse shape and that skirts area is kinda basic and limited and kinda brings this side down alittle, this from the side look just feels really small and def gives that feel that its a more sporty handling type car.

this overall is a really solid solid car man

2025 KINGS Knight Runner

and last but not least another sports car from @PhirmEggplant and this is a interesting car

starting with this front end and this is a pretty mean car, it doesnt look like a kings but sure does give the mean look from the other cars in the brand.

this rear end is ehh, there isnt really much to give to this apart from the location of stuff, first these tails are pretty small and kinda doesn’t match anything with this being a 2025 car, i have seen a 2004 TVR with more intent with these taillights. the diffuser in this kinda makes the car look like its constantly flowing and nothing here really feels Kings

this side profile is pretty simple and has its highlights with this being a sports car, its kinda high but thats a suspension thing and not a design thing

this hood and side vent is a pretty nice look from this angle and yea nothing really else to get with this

and yea thats it for all the cars, i will prob post the winner tomorrow

Finals

ok just some final thoughts about the cars and the winners list thing

@PhirmEggplant
Okay, starting off with this tbh, there isn’t really anything about this car that stands out compared to anything else on this list. For that reason, it’s pretty much at the bottom for me. That’s not an insult to you, because the rest of the people here are amazing designers who really know how to use their skills in this game.

The general shaping and placement of the lights, vents, and such is fine; there’s nothing particularly wrong with that part. But overall, the car itself feels pretty basic. As for being a car for the brand—no. This doesn’t look like anything from Kings or any of my brands. It just comes across as an “angry sports car” that could fit with anything else, but not here.

Now, for the actual cars designed towards the brand placing this one last (in the real designs) isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Tbh, this is definitely one of the best designs here purely from an aesthetic standpoint. However, it doesn’t quite give me the sporty vibe I’d expect from a sports car.

From back to front, this is definitely one of the most consistent designs, with some amazing elements. But again, it doesn’t come across as much of a sporty vehicle. Even when viewing it as a muscle car, it feels more like a luxury car than a true muscle car. When I look at this, I think of a modern Cadillac Coupe Deville rather than a modern Ford Mustang.

That said, from a purely design perspective, this is really impressive. Like I mentioned before, it’s unfortunate that some of the lines don’t quite line up, but those are simple fixes. I will say, this design will definitely be sitting in the vault as a potential luxury long-boat for the company. Very epic car.

Okay, now on to the next car on this list it’s right smack in the middle. Starting off by talking about the elements you’ve given me: wow, this is definitely a good, consistent car. But that’s really all it offers. I’m not looking for a 1,000 fixture hyper-detailed car, but I did expect something with a little more than what you’ve provided.

If that’s a bit confusing, what I’m trying to say is that this car has some great details, but it feels more like a template for a production car rather than a production car itself. Yes, there are simple designs on the road that this could fit with, but even then, it’s still pretty basic compared to some of the other simple designs out there.

I really like the shapes you’ve given me, but there are stronger designs on this list. I think it earns its 3rd spot good car, but nothing too crazy.

Now THIS is a true muscle car look definitely the most “muscle” feel this challenge has offered. I absolutely love the front end and side profile, but damn, that rear end kind of falls short when it comes to consistency. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t really match the muscle vibe the front gave me.

This 100% could have taken first place in the challenge if you’d just added a little more flair to the rear end. I love how large and commanding it feels, from the body proportions on the side to how massive the vents are in the front. The shape you chose perfectly captures the signature Kings style that ties in with the rest of the brand’s cars.

The side exhausts are definitely an interesting choice, but nothing the brand couldn’t pull off. And wow, that side intake and skirts area really shine compared to the rest of the pack. 9/10 very epic design.

@hjuugoo
Now, for the winner of this challenge this is hands down the most consistent and best-designed car in the entire competition. I’ve got to say, wow, this is amazing. I really love the lines throughout and the way the front is shaped. I’m not a huge fan of the headlights, but that’s a simple fix with a small shape adjustment.

The rear end is fantastic easily one of my favorites in this challenge. Azkaalfafa might have had the most compact design, but you outshined them with your consistency. Ot_motive might have had better proportions and overall body vibe, but you outdid them with the detail and flow of your entire design. Chowi might have nailed a mean front end and strong side details, but you really stood out with how the front, sides, and rear all work cohesively it feels like everything was truly designed together.

And uh, PhirmEggplants… well, their design is on its own level, not much to compare there.

This is a well-deserved winner. It shows you have a great vision, not only for studying other designs but also for taking inspiration and creating something uniquely your own. Very epic!

uhh so

Thank you @KSIolajidebt for a cool challenge with great inspirations! Hopefully you did well on your exams!

Automation is wayyy off my priority list right now, so I won’t be hosting (not that I would be a good host anyway), I guess it’s good to leave on a high note…

And yeah, sorry @the-chowi, idk how your car was beaten by my empty plastic shell looking, interiorless, utterly misproportioned, unfinished, fish-looking ass car lol

Congrats to @hjuugoo for the win!

Likewise, thanks to @KSIolajidebt for such a great challenge, it was a lot of fun designing for the Kings brand.

BC you made a genuinely great design.

I’m away from my PC for a couple of weeks so I won’t be able to host either, I’m passing it down.

whats the poll for im confused

Here’s an idea: The 90’s small truck market is ever growing, and (insert random brand) wants a piece of the market. The competitors race to design a small truck that does everything well and looks good. The goal is to make a truck that is economical, reliable, and comfortable.

To give an idea for what people would be interested in making. Then you only have to come up with what the judging and the goal for the cars.

I’m not sure this fits the spirit of Automation challenges, OT_motive should choose the theme as he sees fit.

that’s fair, like I said just having a bit of fun (ADD is wildling tonight sorry)
hints the box truck and hearse polls lol

Yeah this also has to fit into OT’s brand lore or at least fit with the brands vibe, so best to let him decide lol
