I fell down a rabbit hole admiring Mk2 Escorts, which led me to Millington Engines (need an aluminum block, Cosworth YB based engine with a crossflow racing head?), which led me to Darrington Cars. I can’t believe I’ve never even heard of this company. They’ve been building road, road race, and rally cars with a mid-engine GRP monocoque chassis for 50 years. So cool. British kit cars. edit to add: beg pardon, forgive the ignorant Yank. It has come to my attention that the Welsh prefer not to be called British. This is a Welsh kit car company.
