Difference between demo and full version?

So I downloaded some form of demo of automation ages ago, possibly even last year and it was very feature lacking. Today I bought the 35 dollar version of the game but didn’t know how to download the “full/indev only accessible to those who bought the game” version. So I thought maybe I download the demo and log in and it automatically converts everything to the full version.

So I downloaded the latest updates with the launcher and it still said play demo. There was also a buy button but I have already bought the game. I also saw a play game button or something and thought “maybe that is the full version”. I clicked it and saw demo and stuff when the game loaded and it still had options to buy the game within the launched game. I then had to turn off my computer and go somewhere so I’m not at my computer now.

The question is am I doing it right? Have I really accessed the game I bought? I know its still in development but the fact I keep seeing demo everywhere and am being asked to buy it makes me feel that this is just the demo version.

So what is the difference between the demo and the bought version of automation?

You press “play game” to launch the full version.
If you’re able to build V8s, I6s and Turbos, you have the full version.

Its still labeled the “Design Tools Demo” to denote the fact that its not yet finished and doesn’t have any of the tycoon aspects yet.

Thanks, Btw is there only 3 base car bodies at present?

At the moment, yes. In the next update there will be 9 different base models.
