I’m curious why did you choose use such a small displacement engine in the first place. Is has something to do with your brand identity ore something like that? Other than that I can’t find a reason.
well, i’m using a really small body, and it’s the biggest i can have with the setup i’m using
low weight, low gearbox drag and as much torque as possible will hopefully put me at the pointy end of the field. I tried something new with a straight6 1.1L transverse mid layout, now regretting that DSD chose to use a 6 instead of a v8 that we know and love.
you MUST be using a thimble sized turbo
33-34mm with 1.01:1 AR was the biggest I could fit i believe computer probs so I can’t get in to my entry to confirm grr.
dang, i think i had a 35mm comp with a 40mm turb on my 4 banger
yup I just gotta hope that DSD’s ideals of putting positive sliders to fuel system/gearbox and Aero work out,it was hard to fit any engine in the bay but I found the I6 to allow the highest displacement with v6-8 up to 850cc and 4’s at 980cc I think? While without turbo I could get 1234cc and with turbo 1162cc. Was an interesting challenge with the body I chose with 800kgs.
mine is rear mounted 2.5L -ish V6
Damn I did not have the time to test that configuration out so I went with first try F-AWD. But it might be it and ruin my hattrick
2.8L v8… a really small v8 with a turbo… at the rear as well.

Mine’s a 2.5 V6 and I’m a pulley away from being able to claim that the engine actually fits in the car
