I looked that Automation needs a double clutch automatic gearbox (not sequential).
I proposed this feature, but the forum was blocked, and I don’t received any feedback.

IIRC a DSG is not an automatic transmission but still a manual transmission just without a clutch pedal.
No. A manual transmission without clutch is a robotized gearbox (is a sh*t), and the DSG is a automatic gearbox (and you can select manually the sequential mode) but is an automatic gearbox with double clutch instead torque converter.
Is more quicker than a manual and a normal automatic gearbox but equally than a sequential, with a lower fuel consumption that the rest of gearbox, and can support powerful engines (the Veyron uses a DSG).
DSG is a Double clutch sequential.
Yeah, I don’t think the devs are referring to a dog clutch racing style transmission when they say “sequential” like the OP seems to be thinking. For the purposes of the game, the terms are interchangeable.
Sequential single clutch is automated manual, as found on Aston martins and the Ferrari f430.
Sequential double clutch is the DSG/PDK

Ok. Thanks.
