[COMMUNITY SIM] Virtual Automotive & Design – A Discord-Based Automation Business Simulator
Greetings, Automation enthusiasts!
I’m excited to introduce Virtual Automotive & Design (VAD) – a new Discord server simulation that expands the Automation experience into a full economic roleplay with business management, market dynamics, and ruthless capitalism (all in good fun). If you’ve ever wanted to go beyond building cars and actually run the company behind them — this is for you.
What Is Virtual Automotive & Design?
VAD is a community-run simulation that lets you manage your very own car company in a persistent, evolving economy — built around the cars you design in Automation. It’s part game, part roleplay, part chaos. Here’s what you can expect:
Players:
- Design and submit cars using Automation
- Build factories, manage production
- Sell into a simulated global market
- Take out loans, play the stock market, go bankrupt
- Compete (and cooperate) with others to dominate the automotive world
All through a custom-built Discord bot handling monthly cycles, financials, defect rates, and supply-demand dynamics.
Features Available at Launch
Car submission & verification system
Factory management & production tracking
Economic simulation with realistic monthly cycles
Loans, IPOs, and stock market mechanics
Market demand modeling with geographic preferences
Bug reporting & feedback channels
We’re actively developing this — expect lots of updates and new systems as the community grows!
Why Should You Join?
If you love Automation, you probably enjoy the art of car design. But maybe you’ve wished for more:
- What if your company had to survive in a cutthroat market?
- What if bad design actually hurt your finances?
- What if you had to answer to investors or regulators?
VAD brings all that to life. It’s great for:
Roleplayers who want an immersive CEO experience
Business nerds who crave spreadsheets, markets, and min-maxing
Creative types who love building brands and lore
Experimenters who want to test car designs against real economic consequences
You don’t need to be hardcore — there’s room for both serious tycoons and meme carmakers.
How It Elevates Your Automation Gameplay
- Adds consequence to your car design decisions (specs matter!)
- Gives a reason to build product lines, not just one-offs
- Encourages documentation, branding, and business storytelling
- Provides a space for feedback on your vehicles from others playing the same “game”
- Brings longevity and progression to your Automation playstyle
FAQ & Community Questions
Q: Do I need to be a car expert or know economics?
Nope! If you’ve played Automation and can have fun with the fantasy of running a car company, you’re good.
Q: Is this a game or roleplay server?
Both! It has game mechanics (handled by a bot), but thrives on roleplay and community engagement.
Q: Can I join with friends?
Yes! Start rival companies or build a group empire. We’re working on inter-company contracts and shared ventures.
Q: Do I need to be super active?
Monthly cycles give players time to plan, act, and respond. You don’t have to be online 24/7.
