there is a serious data error with 2008_jpn_coupe series hull. no matter even the smallest engine cannot be installed in them. re-installed the application and the problem still occurs.
even an 152cc 3-cylinder in line was considered 155% too long. compared to its hull size(currently 08_jpn_coupe_mid_m_cpp) at least a 4200cc V8 should be able to installed to its mid slot.
please correct this.
what engine position, chassis type and suspension type are you using?
macpherson strut for test, tried all engine placement, front mid rear, both transverse and longitudinal failed due to oversize.
Are you using an outdated earlier game build? That might explain the size issues.
I have the same error. Using latest game build, BodyEditor_10sSupercar02-Coupe_Update_1_0_Preview body takes 950cc v6 engine, because it is the only one that fits the length, although it clearly can take like 3 of these engines in length
once it’s ok, and I made an elegant mid-engine GT with a 4200cc V8 in this body. however after a week it’s no longer available.
That bug (along with the one affecting the ~2.6m MR Tezda body) has since been patched - the body set you are talking about can finally accommodate large engines with longitudinal mid/rear engine placement. It could be that the engine bay calculations got screwed up during your installation process.
