the '03, 2.6 M wheelbase car body (see below) has what I believe to be an engine bay size problem.
This engine bay, when used with a transverse configuration, cannot support a modest 2.7 liter V6. The 2.5M wheelbase variant of this body (same year), however, CAN. That seems rather… backwards.
This body is approximately the same size as a Hyundai Tucson of the same era, which could be equipped with a 2.7L V6 (and frankly had quite a bit of extra room in the bay when all was said and done)
