Engine makes a weird noise when revved

I’ve encountered an issue with the sound of an 8L V16 engine that I’ve recently made. Whenever I go to the test tab and rev it close to its redline, it makes a weird noise, best way that I can describe it is like mixing electrical arcing with tv static. It sounds normal while it’s idling. So far, this has been the only engine that I’ve made that produced this kind of noise while being naturally aspirated

This is the engine in question (by the way, I wish it were possible to upload car and engine files directly): Gofile - Cloud Storage Made Simple

My sound setup is as follows:

I use my TV (LG C4)’s speakers, and my PC is connected directly to the TV

My GPU is an RTX 2080 Ti, and I keep its drivers updated

I have sound configured to 24-bit 96 kHz in the Windows sound settings

I’ll have a look; in future, you can actually directly upload .car and .engine files to the forums.

Is this something you’re experiencing in Automation, or in the car after it has been exported to BeamNG?

I’m experiencing the issue in Automation (I have the Al Rilma open beta enabled)

@MrChips Just wanted to check if there’s been any developments with regards to this issue. I’ve experienced a similar problem on a different game I’ve played in the past, but my ticket kept being ignored, so I’ve never been able to find what was causing this to happen

We haven’t had a chance to look into this just yet; sound bugs though are often quite low priority on account of the incredible amount of work that they are to rectify, and that they don’t directly influence the gameplay.
