A note on tiebreakers:
[ul]
]If two engines get the same score in a trim, whichever wins the most metrics from the other will win the tiebreaker. (If they’re tied again, they’re just tied, period.)/:m]
]If two combined entries get the same score, whichever wins the most trims from the other wins the tiebreaker. (Again, tied again = tied.)/:m][/ul]
Weiler Motor Company may take a shot but it’ll depend on …how things are for me.
That said…the company’s R&D division is already taking a look to see what it can offer…and then narrow things down.
I’m glad that there’s a good amount of interest in this! Thank you especially to the people who sent in their cars early - nice boost to the ego to see people sign up right away. Definitely looking forward to all the entries still to come, though!
Meanwhile, to make this less of a transparently vacuous attempt to bump the thread mid-week, allow me to present: the Peppermint NE-1! You’ve already seen the engine; here’s the rest of it.
Packbat - Peppermint NE-1.zip (89.8 KB)
Ardent has considered designs from both its own engineering department and their partners at Suzume. In the end, the Ardent design was selected for the Peppermint contract bid.
(MOAR SUBMISSIONS for you, Packbat. )
I’ll be trying this, but the deadline is also the date of my exam so it may be a squeeze
Oof - good luck on your studies, strop! May this prove a refreshing diversion.
Thanks… currently studies are a diversion from the work because we’re not allowed to sit the exams unless we’re doing full time work in an accredited institution
Oof, that’s rough. Here’s hoping.
That makes two OHV engine supplieres
snaps fingers
That reminds me - I should be writing down engine configurations, displacements, and valvetrains for all entries. I’ll have to catch up and do that later.
Actually three.

Actually three. :p[/quote]
Just finished updating the spreadsheet. It’s five.
Lawl, why OHV so popular. Its almost like people made 80s engines…
The European appraoch would have been an I4 or something.
I provided an I4 for the base, and two 8s for the up scale.
i actually just provided a single family I6
Single family V8, only two variants. And among the OHV freaks…
Not only that, but the engine is FULLY canonical for my company. I didn’t just make up a displacement and configuration for this model, this is one of the ACTUAL V8 models that Ardent would have made in '85.
similiar.
but i4 DOHC for standard
and i6 SOHC for the rest
it’s not finished yet though
Similar over here Vic, the engines I provided are built 100% to standard for LHE design, and are infact based off of the engine family timeline in association for production.
Loving all the RP potential going on in here.
