I’m topping out at 623 HP and i cant go any higher how are you guys getting 629 HP and 630 HP?
Challenge for you guys.
Actually, 2 separate challenges in one.
Stipulations:
No race intake or exhaust headers.
Keep the fuel feed type as is (Direct Injection)
You need to keep the cat and mufflers untouched. Exhaust diameter is free game.
Maximum RON is 95.
Here’s the XML if you’d like to take a crack at either challenge. sendspace.com/file/lqit2k
Nothing super fancy here, just a modern direct injected econobox motor along the lines of Mazda’s Skyactiv engines. Emphasis placed on drivability and economy with a slightly sporty character.
Here’s my 2020 Racing Engine.

Also, I have made the Rover A-Series engine found in the Mini Cooper from 1998 to 2001.

Finally, I decided to make the tiny high revving motorbike engine found in the 1963 Honda S500.

I did exactly the same thing though did you find you had to raise the compression slightly over the real life motor to make the power?
Converted that 3.1L of mine to use DI, and here it is. sendspace.com/file/kvbba9
