Epic rap battles of automation

ummm i think you took it too literal…

what i meant at the end was… “let’s change the topic of our rapping”

yeah I got that  but I wanted to take it literal since I had no clue what else to rap about

lets rap nonsense then boy
sorry, i took your reference to soy
too literal, didn’t I? yeah, that was overboard
anyway lets change subject i’m getting bored
why isn’t anyone telling me to stop
its clear my show is total flop

First off, apologies for the late reply,
for i was preoccupied with going beddie-bye.
However i appreciate the feedback of my truck
and if you wanted a revision, well you’re in luck.
as you may know, that initial design was just a mock-up
though now Betta improved it, yup yup.
want to see the final result? finally it’s set for production
and it also has a 4WD version for places with no Road Construction.
and also, that sounds pretty hot, might just be my inner Weeb
though i’d rather Eat ass then drive your BRC car made for a Dweeb

OHHHH SHIT you just got shit on Koolkei

Kubby went DEEP into reference territory on this one, because Strop also said this in the same tone to shit on the Agera One:1’s supposed power output when talking up the Mephisto, which has… well more than that. And that was, by forum time, nearly 2 years ago.

My god. You know what, Kubby knows how to weave the lore so well into lyric that I’mma just leave it to him for now. That was A+ tops.

Wait what.

Huh. Well, uhhh…this reference was most certainly intentional. Yeah.

Now, who do you think won?

Ok let me see how many punches Norman got in.

Fair call. If not for Zeus we’d probably still be in debt to our armpits.

Kubby is right, calling Strop a bogan is mildly annoying. Calling, say, Hannah or Tesla a bogan, however, is not so much, because they are and they own it.

This would be a good OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH moment. Shit. I nearly got slain. Damn. And I think the comeback wasn’t quite as strong because despite Znopresk’s initial Yugoslav roots, it is now known for being the reliable kind of affordable.

I think Strop took it. Something about the holier-then-thou mentality and comeback to burn ration

@Kubboz I love you! XD This is truly truly great!
Carefully taken references… wow… just wow!
I’m still having a smile on my face.

To be precise Znopresk never was Jugoslavian. It was in the Austro-Hungarian empire in the early years, but after the WWI was under the Italy (it was founded in the istrian peninsula). After the WWII, they left some industrial plant in the Istrian penunsula end moved close to Trieste to avoid to be under the Tito’s Jugoslavia.

Well fuck. Eh, it would later become Yugoslavia, so the comparison still works xD. I’ll change the reference guide for accuracy.

I’ll admit, that was a good one. Not sure which one won, but I know I had a couple smiles here and there.

No problem

I think I’d better avoid this thread now that I’ve weirded everyone out

I’d like for more user participation actually. I’m now just putting mine on the back burner because kubby well slayed out there and dropped the mic :joy:

I might have some lines, but they’re from the perspective of my character, Luke, and they’re a bit more ‘attack mode’ than I originally intended, especially given that many of the people who have posted here routinely kick my ass in the Car Shopping Round. But I could organize things together enough to throw down a few lines, although I don’t rap and I’m not all that talented with rhyme.

You’re not talented?? I feel like barfing when I look over the posts I make here, so don’t demoralize or devalue yourself

who said you need to be good at it do to something?
you need to do that something to be good at it.

now it is time to chime, show us the rhyme, we’ve got the time :stuck_out_tongue:

yeah come on mate, show us your rhyming power
let out the prose and let it flower

Hear that thunder, and see that lightning?
Isn’t it so mighty frightening?
The weather’s bad for you, I fear,
The Storm’s arrived, and people cheer,
They know we’re rather hard to beat,
And they want to see a race tonight,
They painted lines across the street,
And closed the road 'til dawn’s first Light.

You build your cars to just look good,
but there’s nothing underneath the hood,
There’s chrome and pipes and turbo gear,
Nothing that this 'bot will fear.
A little straight four, don’t make me laugh,
What’s your plan for that engine half?

You’re a floppy drive, I’m solid state,
and your design is shit smeared on a plate.
I built a car, you built a roller skate.
You’re on time? Ha, you’re two days late!

I’ll admit, I rap like crap,
but I don’t build my cars that way.
You might be proud of that death trap,
I’d rather live another day.
Stay off the track with that piece of shit
Or I’ll tag you once, just one small hit,
see it scatter pieces across the track,
you’ll need a bag to take 'em back.

You swear you hear your fans are screamin’,
hate to tell you, you’re just dreamin’
You thought you were in this race,
but you’re only fightin’ for second place.

(A hint of background as Luke’s story isn’t out there yet, but Luke’s an android. Consider Storm Automotive to be from an alternate reality Earth where technology advanced really fast in computers, Skynet happened without the whole Terminator thing, and Luke’s an offshoot from that, a military machine given citizen’s rights. His last name is Light, so the capitalized one in the rhyme is a small reference to that.)

(Also, as stated, this is more Luke in attack mode, though there’s no true target. If it helps, consider it a result of Luke dealing with a trash-talking car company.)

that was… actually pretty good, better than me even possibly
