Lateralus (1989-2004) (2026-…) or de Vitale (2004-2026) is a spanish car brand owned and created by Victor de Vitale who was a young mecanic who worked in the creaton of times peak vehicles.

Origins
in 1989, De Vitale designed his first car for his tuning brand Lateralus. The Lateralus Felino became the first car of the brand being popular in spain, being the firsts steps of the brand in the industry
2000 era
with Lateralus becoming a major brand in racing and tuning world, De Vitale decided to open the brand to a wider public, making his tuning car brand into a real, serius brand. In 2004, De Vitale changed Lateralus´s name to De Vitale, so it “would be more serius”
2010 Era
The new De Vitale focused on luxury and controled power rather than the previus uncontroled hp and crazy numbers from Lateralus. Altought this new focus on relaxed cars opened to brand to a wider public, old Lateralus fans felt abandonated, turning the tuning originated brand into a “traitor brand”
2020 and forward
in 2020, as other brands, de Vitale sufered major economical problems. With the lack of support from the spanish goberment to help the brand, de Vitale made the decision to move De Vitale’s HQ to the USA, where his market changed. The luxury cars slowy disapeared, more sport cars appeared and, finaly, in 2026, De Vitale took advantage of the delicate state of other European sports brands to make his big announcement: Lateralus is back.
