So does anyone around here follow Eurovision?
Because if so i want some discussion around here!
I did watch the finals and I have to say I liked a lot more of the songs than I thought I would. Italy’s was my favourite, that live performance actually gave me goosebumps!
I would like to see Dead By April in next year’s Eurovision final from Sweden, they are a band I like and I recently realised they have been in some semi-finals.
Eh, wasn’t that over like 3 weeks ago? If so, wouldn’t this be 3 weeks late then?
But I might be wrong, I’m not in Europe

Well yeah it was something like two weeks ago or something but however if you’re a bit interested you can also talk about the future.
Also personally i was afraid russia would win because they had the most votes for such a long time, and well just look at the 2014 sochi olympics… also so many of the live eurovision audience are LGBT so i wonder how that would turn out
One thing I don’t like about Eurovision is the amount of impact politics have on determining votes. Countries would give more points to ‘allied’ countries and vice versa, it becomes less about the music. And the public voting makes the competition more about what appeals to a mainstream audience, not raw compositional talent, or originality. But as I said, there were a few songs I liked and actually continue to listen to, so I can’t complain too much. And there isn’t really a better method of doing things.
