Exclusive Access to Mazmart's engine dyno.. devs want pics?

I am the head of Atlanta local mazda crowd, and a friend is the manager of Mazmart (for those that know what mazmart is; for those that don’t, it’s the place that refinishes a LOT of Mazda racing team’s rotary engines… a lot as in nearly all of them. It is also the place that tuned and did a lot of work on the 787B)

I am wondering if the devs would like some nice pictures to kinda compare their engine dyno room to a very nice one (nice as in… it’s been used, not nice as in it’s never been touched with dirt lol)

Let me know.

If you want specifics I can get them for you, I know what to look for in particulars. I’m a photographer, videographer, put several years into designing things in 3dsMax, so if it’s textures, parts, etc… let me know!

oooh I like this. I like this alot. If you could convince daffy and zeussy (the devs) to include rotaries in the release (it’s currently slated for an expansion), I would love you forever.

also give my regards to paul.

Oh, now THAT could be cool, for now we’re concentrating on getting a demo out, but once we start working more on the large volume of art we need (there will probably be 4 dyno rooms - an OLD small one (pre computers etc) an OLD large one, a NEW small one and a NEW large one)

We’ll let you know when we get to that point, could be useful!

Mazmart has a computer in their dyno room, but VERY … VERY old, we’re talking… DOS serving one function, showing sensors lol

Hello,

I work for a large diesel engine company here in Aus. I can get photographs of a state-of-the-art dynamometer facility which comprises of two engine dyno rooms (one can handle up 4000hp and the other 5500hp) with a control room in between. Since all fuel lines, wiring looms and water piping are very large, it might be good to use as a reference and just scale it down for the game.

Let me know if i can help.

Cheers, Sean

EDIT I also have access to a large chassis dyno (up to 1500hp) with control room, designed for prime movers and buses.

This is good stuff guys. Sounds like it will come in handy  Better to have good pictures of the real thing to compare than none. Cheers!
