Better xD
But, for me (and by european standard) 7.2 is already huge

1965 Cheetah

First atempt to attack US sports car market, and a big experiment in creation of big V8’s
since Fao builded its first factory on american soil in 1959, it had to extend offers of big cars
to survive, just the dailier wasn’t enough and US customers simply dint’t apricieted european models enough to call them profitable.

So here it is First polish muscle car on american soil, in fact it sold it self preety well since it hited pocket of Premium muscle as well as low cost budget oversized fun car. Even in europe it found some minor intrest.

Fao Cheetah comes in 3 Diffrent flavors wich the most powerfull one is for US market only.

1946-48 Lollypop
While Dailier was a large familly car that costed preety large price, not many pepole after war was able to afford a car like that. But there was cheaper and bit earlier model alternative for that.
Small family sedan called lollypop. design Works was started in lmid 1945 enigne was based on one of prewar Fiat engines how ever from original design stayed basically just an engine block. first prototype car was driven at the end of 1945 with rough body design, but assembly line was ready in mid 1946 and until 1947 production was rather limited, how ever car sell was good for a time. In 1948 came out modernised Lollypop Lux and stayed in production along side Dailier up to 1952. In 1950 Lollypop gen.2 was brought to a design table.

Polonez = RWD Hatchback
Trueno = RWD Hatchback

Where’s the difference?

Polonez is bad. Just bad.

It was a bit of sarcasm there… :wink:

Polonez have other body than Trueno.
Look at photos on google.Look at Polonez and Trueno and match the differences.(Yes i am from poland)

Apart from the 4A-G, so is the 86. A mid-70s Corolla with some sports suspension and modernized body.

Oooooh, I didn’t know that at all… :wink: …or maybe I did.

Besides, the 70-series Corolla wasn’t a bad car for its time and price…

Polonez was an early 60s Fiat with some downgraded quality and modernized body. And it didn’t have the 4A-G, but - guess what - a bad (60s) engine.
