I was just being facetious my dear Strop. Seriously though, his image may have glitched, cause I’ve had it happen where the car doesn’t render properly and does that, even on max view.
Hey, if I were in your shoes I wouldn’t either red. Even though my company is called Hyperion Racing. That’s more because I’m a coward and don’t know how to tune an engine for racing or laptimes.
Red I was talkin about myself, not you there. If you would’ve read, I mentioned my company (and put emphasis on the fact that it has Racing in the name), then rambled about me being a coward.
Well I’m gonna go work on my 1600+ horsepower 1:1 brute and see if I can actually make it work without my game crashing this time. Then again, I still need to check out a submission that I haven’t yet.
Strop has helped me in the past with engine and car tuning and I too share his love of performance index over outright power. My particular (almost peculiar, ) focus is on responsiveness; IRL I find unresponsive engines annoying and I really like doing mods that “sharpen up” an engine rather than shoot for stratospheric power outputs (this is relative, mind you, I’ve never done any serious tuning, just extractors and pod filters mainly). I, unfortunately for me, didn’t learn Strops magical handling skills so my cars respond well, have neutral handling and get soundly beaten by just about everything!
The car Strop shared with me was so much faster than my own it was scary; Gryphon Gear can become Bogliq’s unofficial aftermarket tuner anytime! (Since Leeroy Racecraft has the same terrible suspension engineer as Bogliq!!!)
CobaltGirl’s 1.01.01 on the Airfield has really knocked the wind out of my sails though, as my car is much slower!
Right, I finally got my shit together and submitted. Though I have to say, I don’t know where I’ll stack up because I can’t help but shake this sense of disappointment. I did get back the 2 seconds I dropped by opening up the vents on my car. But I just can’t help but feel that even a car from 1990 should be… a bit faster.
Also, definitely no prizes for most horsepower, most torque, highest top speed, greatest reliability, or lightest car. I’ll be aiming to win through track points alone!

Mission accomplished!!! You are all welcome, EVERYBODY ELSE!
<3 you, strop! hahaha
Just wanted to point this out again for you, strop!
I’ll be checking out the entries and updating things later this evening, just haven’t had time today. Then I’ll probably work on my new car and such.
Edit: Alright, everything’s updated and all the people who I haven’t checked off have been checked off. Didn’t expect to get this many people, so I’m kind of happy with the results. Still accepting applications though, so feel free to send in those race cars!
3. You can utilize one 15 quality per section, as in one for Model, one for Engine, and one for Trim. Outside of that, quality must remain at 5 or below. This also applies to the negatives, so if you have one -15, then you can’t have a 15, and vice versa.

Hi All,
Can anyone clarify the above in reference to Quality? does this mean that every slider can be +5 quality with a singe +/-15 within each category?
That is to say, ONE slider out of all the tabs in each category (Model, Engine or Trim) is allowed to be either less than -5, or greater than 5. Every other slider must be between -5 to 5, inclusive.
