Thought since its a while since we did any Forza I’d throw the gauntlet down for a little challenge.

Lotus Cortina Hotlap on Fujimi Old Downhill, Mods allowed to the top of E Class (200), No assists, Manual Gearbox

My Time: 4:08.14

I wish I could do this but I don’t have a wireless dongle and I have a [size=140]cough[/size] [size=80]pirated[/size] copy of Forza.

i should get back into forza - everyone i used to play it with moved onto things like CoD or doing stupid things like having baby’s and such nonsense! :stuck_out_tongue:

right - ive made a car and had a few goes - the most absolute best i can do is 4.25.32 seconds D:

I’ll admit that to get that time took about 3 nights of practice and car setup, was trying for a “fastest Lotus Cortina on the leaderboards” record :stuck_out_tongue:

haha nice! i had a go at leaderboards when it came out - ended up leaving it because i either wasnt good enough and would be well at the bottom - or some twat managed to find a glitch that let him lap the nurburgring in 12 seconds >_<

Yeah, some guys are gooood, there is still a Lotus Cortina that’s like a clear 8 seconds faster than me with no Assists, and I have no Idea where he’d find all that time! :stuck_out_tongue:

i find that the guys with wheel’s are easily at the front of races ive taken part in - one of the guys i play with regularly has a full race seat setup and unless im in a car thats a class or 2 higher than him i simply cant even keep up with him >_<

ive been trying to overcome my bad driving with cars with giant engines - stuck the Maserati MC12 engine in the Maserati Ghibli Cup - its insane :smiley:

Wish i had a steering wheel for forza (a fanatec csr :smiley:) , i “only” have a logitech G25 which isn’t compatible with forza :cry: (although i am having fun with it on the ps3 with GT5 which it does work on :unamused: )

Tried some hotlapping, is it btw the max in E class which is 275 or is it max F class which is 200??
Built a Cortina at 275 rating. That got a 4:20,601 time after a couple of runs, rebuilt the cortina for more grip and got around 4:09-4:08 but without a clean lap (everytime i touched a wall somewhere). Frustrated after 3 hours of fiddling… will try some more when i am willing to spend some more time.

I like my panamera with the carrera GT engine swap and RWD swap and the M5 with the V12 engine swap (dunno which one it was), completely altering the cars driving characteristics.

most of my game time in Forza is actually just playing with upgrades and testing them to find out if they are good or not - im a sucker for engine swaps as well - in 3 you could stick a LS7 into a Chevy Aveo and Keep it FWD or change it to RWD - it was a brutal little car once tuned right but they nerfed it in 4 and you cant put the LS7 in it any more D:
