The year is '95, and along with Windows 95, GVD’s first car - the GVD Arcade - is released.
Shown below is the base model with a 2.0L naturally aspirated inline 4 producing 121 HP.
Since this is only the base model, there’s really nothing special in terms of looks.
Hello and welcome!
Very nice car for first try.I like the front and side line (except that strange turn indicator on the back .Imo the back need some new taillights. Also show us the total price.
On topic: Nice start of your company with this car. It looks like a decent hot hatch french car to me, but thats maybe because the shape reminds me too much of the Peugeot 306.
As for any car company willing to be active on different market segments, this type of car is AT LEAST needed. I would make the back-up lights smaller en the brakelights bigger though.
3 months after the Arcade hit the scene, a new trim was introduced - the Arcade S.
The S model brought along a new engine as well, a turbocharged 2.0L inline 4 producing 172 HP.
Cosmetic changes included body-colored door handles, a sportier front bumper, and a sunroof.
But imagine the cost for getting the bulb changed; interior trim has to come off after clambering in over the back seat, not to mention it isn’t in the sight-line of other drivers…
But I model my designs off of Toyota’s so what do I know
You certainly know how to keep the same quirks in design up, so buyers would recognize your cars. I, for one, would like to know more about the background of your company and what each car is targeted at.
That engine seems to have a lot more in it. Not only is RON at 80-something, but the redline is at 6500 rpm which is also when max power and even max torque occurs. If you want a few tips on engines, or even if you want me to supply some, just send me a PM.
Design wise your cars are great I like the looks, but could you let your engines rev? Every engine is making peak power right at the fuel cut, that’s hurting your performance stats.
