Major Settlements
Juavos:
Probably the oldest city in Garcia, Juavos is the capitol of the island nation. It was founded by the spanish in the 16th centuary. The city is known for its medium sized port that in modern time mostly supports pleasure cruises and light industry.The city istelf is known for a rich culinary culture, known as food central to most Garcians. Juavos is also known as the home of the Islands richest citizens.
New Vegas:
A relatively modern settlement by the standards of the islands towns and cities, New Vegas is a historical spot, known as where the US stored nuclear weapons during the Soviet invasion. Since the late 80’s the city as had a seccond ressurgence of Gambling and Pleasure, A spot where many Americans now go on vacation to to lose money and enjoy life.
Artevia:
Probably the smallest city in Garcia, Artevia is known as the islands Tech central. This is where the most prestigeous university in Garcia is located, and is known for it’s research in Medicine and Technology.
Tantos:
Located on the Island of Tantos, the uncreatively named city of Tantos is mostly a military town. It’s full of US troops who maintain the large air and naval bases on the island. Tantos is also known for being Garcias 2nd largest industrial town, home to a GMI production facility.
Port West:
As the name suggests, Port West is a naval city. It’s home to Garcias Navy and a large commercial fishing port. The town also has a major rail connection allowing for quick transportation of fresh fish to other major cities in the island.
Port Tracey:
The last major port on Garcia, Port Tracey is mostly used by GMI as an export port for transporting their many models to other countries. The port is also used by Bogliq to import cars to Garcia, including the Bosun (GMI ZX64).
St. Augusta:
The largest city in Gacria, St. Augusta is known for one thing, and one thing only. Industry. The city is home to GMI’s headquarters along with the vast majority of it’s manufacturing sites. The city is landlocked and therefore requires connection by rail and road. The city is also home to Gacria’s Army and Air Force, with some US barracks attached as part of the U.S.A’s ongoing support to the island.
San Biscessa:
This is the crime central of Garcia. It’s known for drug cartels and the Mob. This is also the cheapest place to live in Garcia with the highest death rate in the entire nation. The cities police department is know for being corrupt and is the only place in Garcia with military checkpoints in and out. It’s believed that the crime family’s have russian backgrounds and are exiles from the soviet union left over after the failure of the Soviet invasion of Garcia.
San Divas:
The home of Garcian Media. The city of San Divas is known for being the home of Garcian film, along with vast tv studios and home to the islands most famous celebrities. The city is also known for tourism, with vast sandy beaches and glamorous hotels.
