Giorgetto Giugiaro style 70's sportscar (Download)

It’s absolutely fabulous!

Is there any chance you might be able to do a 330 P4? ( autoautomobiles.narod.ru/autoaut … 330-p4.gif )
60’s supercars need some love too!

beautiful!! Good work man!!

Nice. Very nice. Very clean edge flow as well. When are the first ingame shots coming?

As soon as the UV maps and the rigging is done. The former is a little harder than the modelling. :stuck_out_tongue: The teal color a high specular level is just used because it makes it easier to discover dents and inaccuracies in the bodywork.

Should be possible. It may take a while due to upcoming exams, though.

I’ve tried importing it to the game with the video tutorial, but once I try to open it, the game crashes. Any ideas?

Edit: It starts now, but it looks awfully small in game.

I’m sure just scaling the model in Max should work. I can’t wait to have this in game!

Any idea on what length in meters it should be? The current model is 419 cm long.

hopefully one of the Devs will have the game to real life ratio as 419cm is spot on for the S1, etc

It’s imported, at last. I need to adjust the script so that the chassis fits, but this is how the bodyworks looks in the game engine.

(That’s the radiator, not a vent, if anyone wonders. :p)

that’s looking sweet

Dribble, much want :stuck_out_tongue:

Good job, it’s looking so sweet!

My eyes just exploded for the awesomeness overload. This is looking insanely good!

It’s truly truly outrageous

Congratulations! It looks fantastic

Thank you for the compliments. It’s currently not possible to punch any holes in it for headlights and so on, even though it’s properly UV mapped. Does anyone know if there’s something else that needs to be done?

Have you skinned it? I think that just affects the pulling of the car’s main parts, but it could be the problem if it’s not skinned.

The car is skinned with two dummy meshes that don’t do anything useful yet.

Have you set your projection materials in the .lua file of the model?

I’ve set the regular materials that determine what’s plastic, what’s chrome, what’s bodypaint and so on. The projection materials are the same as the 1980s mid-engined car.
