Inspired by an old question asked on reddit, I will be hosting a leaderboard based on this:
‘If the fastest vehicle produced each year was put on an infinitely straight track on the first day of the year it was produced, and raced at its top speed indefinitely, which car would currently be in the lead?’
Any car entered is placed on the start line the year it is produced and is driven at top speed indefinitely.
To discourage gas guzzling monsters fuel will effect the results. (although it is very minimal compared to other factors)
The end year is 2020 where the total distance will be measured
Any year is allowed for your car, although keep in mind the earlier the year the better the head start!
Post your top speed in km/h and your economy in L/100km (for easier calculation)
Please limit yourselves to having at least 25 score in any market category (after all it does say produced)
Past these guidelines anything goes!
Things to Remember
[ul]
1.) Minimum 25 in any market
2.) Fuel tank is 60L
3.) Refueling is 37.9L/min
[/ul]
as an example lets say a car starts in 1975 goes 200 km/h and does 12 L/100km
calculations say it should spend 390,000 hours on the road and drive a distance of 78,016,611.0 km
