I know I might not get much (if any) response to this one, but I have to at least ask…
To put it plainly, I suck at art in all forms. I couldn’t draw a custom logo or emblem for my companies if my life depended on it.
Thus I am kindly asking the community for logos for both Ardent Motors Corporation and Suzume Motor Manufacturing Industries. I don’t care if you pitch one or the other or both, I’m just looking for something nice to throw up as an avatar and on my AutomationHub pages. It’s preferable if the designs are in keeping with the eras that each company was found (Depression-WWII for Ardent, mid-70’s for Suzume), but if you’ve got something good that you feel is worthy, I’d love to see it.
However, for extra bonus points, if you can make an image detailed enough that one of the 3D artists can then take it and make a custom badge from it, that would be even better.
What do you get?
My heartfelt gratitude and a shoutout here. Sadly, I have nothing more than that to give at this point.
Deadline: I will give this at least 2 weeks, but after that if I see something that strikes my fancy, I’ll pick it.
For the Suzume logo, the outer lines could be thicker and smoother, and the word “Higashi” would need to be removed (that was Manche’s fictional company from the competition that eventually spawned Suzume)… but I do like the concept.
The reason I went with gold and silver is because it shows the value of the cars. Your company is American, and pretty much stars and stripes are most important to a lot of Americans, especially during the era your company was founded. Nationalism was very high in those days, that’s why I stuck with those stars pretty much.
The other wing-like logo is derived from the Eagle, another American icon. Together with speed that it represents, it also stands for being proud. Proud to own an Ardent car, with my shiny silver or gold badge on the front of my car.
I was also thinking about red, white and blue (because Nationalism) but the logo’s I had just didn’t get that ‘feeling’ you need to have as a designer haha!
Hope that explains enough, looking forward to your reply.
