Gremlin Luxury is a luxury car manufacturer established in 1956 and is the 21st biggest manufacturer on the market.
History
Gremlin Luxury was established on August 21st 1956 in Missouri by a man by the name John Kelmin. Kelmin sought out to create a luxury company that had a mix of luxury sedans to high end top of the line supercars, but still were atleast sold at a reasonable price.
Gremlin released their first car on March 16th 1957 and is currently known as the Caldera. The Caldera was a massive hit for rich old people looking for a giant sedan to waddle their grand kids around in. In one instance the Caldera was used as a Presidential Vehicle in 1994.
Gremlin Luxury has had a few run ins with companies. With incident happening in 1985 when Kelmin flat out exposed Vermon Quebec and Bick Norman in the parts rumor. Vermon sued Kelmin but before anything could be answered Bick and Vermon were arrested as the parts rumor was proven to be true.
Gremlin still holds up to this day as being a high end luxury company. Adored by rich old people and spoiled rich kids.

Thus ending the 50’s Lineup and starting the 60’s lineup
As a rear-engined oddball the Caldera would have had some appeal for anyone not interested in the usual suspects. And it would have left enough space up front for ballast and/or luggage.
Honestly as if the rear wasn’t big enough. I wonder how large the frunk might be. (I know you might have seen this already but I deleted the other one and replied to your comment realizing I didn’t reply to your comment)
