That’s really cool - i named my company Hikaru J.K.G too!
With five days left, which race mechanics spreadsheet are we using? The one in the intro post…
or this revision?
@here There was a big discussion about the minimalistic influence of drivability and reliability on the resulting laps, that makes it worth it sacrificing massively on the reliability and drivability. As a result I have reworked the effective lap time calculation. Driveability now works linear and gives a generally bigger effect. Reliability has an effect on Pit Times now, that is 0 when reliability is 100. (Linear effect)
Cars have already been submitted, what made me a bit reluctant to change the race calcs, but I think this rework leads to better car building in the direction of the spirit of producttion car racing. The link in the race mechanic section has been changed. Deadline will be postponed to 7th of April, to give people time to rework if necessary.
If you want to compare the old results to the new ones here is the old link: https://1drv.ms/x/s!AnFEJXzJTPbPkU7o23KsrGQbn9SY?e=d8aiUY
Sorry for any inconvinience.
1985 Wolfe ESX 270
The ESX comes back with a vengeance in '85. Build since the early 80s by Wolfe, the 270 edition comes with a downtuned engine and a few less bells and whistles, but is still a mean 4-seater for the family looking for performance. With ample space, a sporty interior, a 5-speed stick, a blacked-out look and a 5.9s 0-100 acceleration, enthusiasts looking for a car also suitable for groceries and getting kids to school do not need to look very far. All this under 24k AMU.

Cordelia Topaz MC
Just like all Cordelias it comes with a V6 engine under the hood. But this one has 30 valves. That’s five whole ass valves for each cylinder. High tech baby. We have found that this is the most efficient way to make a fast car, which means the Cordelia Topaz MC is a reasonable purchase for you.
With sharp but civilized looks, four full size seats and modest fuel consumption, you will not need to change your lifestyle* to justify giving it the spot in your single garage.
“It’s not a toy, it’s an investment in the future of the automobile.”
You should practice that line and say it repeatedly to all your friends and family. They’ll love it every time.
“Live fast, drive long.”
Another classic Cordelia owner quote that never gets old and definitely nobody finds annoying.
One year membership in the Princess Cordelia Royal Automobile Club is incuded in the purchase price. As a member of PCRAC you may learn even more fun ways to talk about your car. Hoep to see you there @:o)
*You do not need to change your lifestyle, because that happens automatically; Being a Cordelia owner is a dominating and irreversible personality trait.whats this mean??? “FunP(DxAx0,4)+FamSpP(DxAx0,3)+Sp(DxAx0,3)”
Sometimes life is about being true to your roots, but also being the best version of yourself. That’s the philosophy behind the 1985 Flint Contender. We kept it true to its roots as a practical, comfortable family sedan, but then made it the best it could be. How? Enhance the engine to put out nearly 300 horsepower. Add all-wheel drive, a limited slip differential, and sport tires to control all that power. All while still offering comfortable seating for five, a spacious trunk, and class-leading safety features. That’s not just a car. That’s a Contender.
When you look at the categories of market on the engineering tab, you hover over one and it tells you the desirability. For the rules, the desirability of each of those markets listed are multiplied and added together
Would you mind updating the master post with the new deadline? I almost forgot it was extended, lol
Thx for the hint.
Is it allowed to switch to bigger rims for the Racecar? For example 16 Inch for P, 17 Inch for R?
When Bullinger introduced the SEK520 in 1983, homologation for racing was already being discussed. Bullinger had last participated in auto racing in 1955, and had pulled out of all motorsport following the Le Mans disaster and the subsequent motorsport ban in the company’s home of Switzerland. However, Gido Bullinger, the younger brother of the company’s president Christen Bullinger, was an avid racing enthusiast and wanted the family company’s name on the leaderboards again. While the Swiss motorsport ban didn’t explicitly ban companies from racing in other countries, Christen was worried about the optics if Bullinger was seen openly supporting racing, although he ultimately agreed with Gido’s point about the potential sales boost they could receive from winning races. So, when the SEK520 Evo, the homologation model for the new FIA Group A regulations, was announced, Bullinger only told the public that the car was intended “for a higher tier of motor enthusiasts” - which was technically true.
Yes. thats possible.
Picture this: A lightweight all-aluminum body, technologically advanced double wishbone suspension all around, coupled with a healthy 2.5-liter Inline 6 producing 250 HP, sending power to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
Sounds like a dream, right?
It gets even better when you think about the Luixurios interior and beautifully shaped body, rounded off by a sporty yet comfortable ride quality.
If you think it can’t get better than this, just wait until you hear it all yours for just 22600 USD!
The Phönix Landhai HR is all you ever wanted from a car!
*limited production only
McDoug Motors Brings the Griffen production model straight from the Dealership and is ready for homologation.
A lightweight 2L inline 4 with plenty of tech in this DOHC 4V engine
These are long races folks and the Griffen is ready to take flight.
Ps hoping I got all the tech pool stuff squared away.
I am excited to start engineering the race version!
@here Submissions are now closed. I will start checking the Production cars and will come back with the budgets for the Race Car.
@Riley your ad is still missing.
a bark and a bite...
You just have to keep up.
Forget what you know about full-size sedans.
It's time to ring in the next generation of proud performance.
