SANZOU
NODACHI
CIRCUIT EDITION
too lazy to create a lore sorry
The lore is you wanted to go fast in 1992, you bought this roller and stuffed in your best engine. Voila.
Though it looks like it cost a million and requires rich sponsors, this white-body FMC BR equipped with a high-revving DOHC 6.something V8 is a fraction of the cost. Still, the best way to make a small fortune in racing is to start with a large fortune.
In order to hit the budget for this order, a slightly de-tuned engine was chosen, and the body was done in fiberglass instead of carbon fiber, which bumped the weight up a bit so we tweaked the suspension to compensate. In all, it is still capable of 205 mph which should satisfy club racers and all their desires.
The High Noon Club is now closed down it’s submission entry and now ready to get on the track for reviewing phase.
any news?
Tsukuba Circuit, 3rd May 2006
With all the contestant and of course, the HNC crew are at the track, all of them can be seen hanging out at the pit stop, waiting for the judging began while waiting for Mr.B having a meeting with the Go Go Drive! crew in the nearby office.
Not only Go Go Drive! crew were there, there’s also other network crew that Mr.B invited because according to him ‘they gave me a shout out to Fuji Speedway big guys to lend their track next time in the future.’ kind of deal. Weird deal but okay.
Few minutes passed, Mr.B and Go Go Drive! crew were seen laughed as they were on the way out and head down to the pit stop. Mr.B grabbed a loudspeaker and gathered everyone’s attention while the network crews spread out throughout the track, setting their camera and such. Mr.B asked the racers to do time attack instead of normal racing because they’re seeing different types of car types that were in that day as some cars were too fast for some cars.
Oh and Mr.B will be a passenger in each contestant’s car on each time attack and will be the driver if the car has 1 seat.

An aero box with wheels as described by Mr.B but don’t let the looks fool you. It said on the sheet that it has ‘2JZ’ that everyone has blabbering alot these lately. Claims it can produce up to 569hp but looking at the graph, it seems it can produce more power than that but not happening because of power cut. Ah well, i’m sure this ‘2JZ’ engine is a good choice for this but not a good tune that is.

With Mr.B in the car as a passenger, he can feel the car just wants to more but cut off from the aforementioned power cut before. Suspension and ride-wise? It’s good but not good enough for the crew. It got that decent time but other than that? It’s just your average tuned car. Nothing special about it, really.

Well, this is unexpected. A Group C looking car that is 3 second slower than the aero brick that they had previous. Clearly there’s something wrong with this car. Checking the spec sheet on this car, well it suffers the same problem as the previous car too, power cut. Mr.B surely was confused as 2 cars suffered the same problem in a row too. But this one got optimal power delivery so that’s a plus.

On the track wise? Other than it’s slower than the previous one, it’s sporty sure but cornering wise? It’s comparable to the previous car too meaning it’s not impressive for Group C car. It’s slow, heavy and just a not good car overall.

Would you look at this awesome looking track toy. HNC crews love this colour scheme that they had going on with and it’s stupidly fast too! It got under 2 minutes on this track making it the fastest car for now. Checking at the spec sheet, it got 400hp from the turbo 1.8L boxer 4 and weighs around 1019kg. No wonder why it got under 2 minutes mark, it got that spectaculuar engine, low weighs and very good suspension tuning too.
With really impressive time from this car, HNC surely approved on this car, right? Of course they do because it managed to out impressed them if that’s the word…

While the 2 previous are more akin to extreme track toy, this one is toned down a bit but still retains that track toy traits to it. Looking at the spec sheets, surprisingly this one didn’t have the power cut problems like previous ones. It got alot of power from the small 1.8L turbo 4 banger and it got that nice power delivery too.

The track time isn’t that bad too, one second slower than Sanzou Nodachi CE but it corners better and feels nice on the track too, thanks to the power delivery from the engine.

Slowest car on Tsukuba so far and i wonder why… coughresizedkeiplatecough. Other than the elephant in the room, the car looks fine, nothing aggresive or nothing too bland too. Just the rims looks stupidly small here but it’s running on 17 inch. Well, because the tire is stupidly thick for that grip, i guess?
Still frame from Kid’s Digest’s video camera
Other than incredibly thick tires, is it a good car to drive around the track? Eh, not really. It’s just not good as previous cars that they had and it’s heaviest car so far, weighing around 1987kg. Yikes, that’s a no for a track car like this eh?

A Super Silhouette inspired car which is a nice change of pace and unique looking too. Other than that, it is the 2nd fastest car time-wise, thanks to it’s ridiculous 80’s aero box on this car. Checking the spec sheet on this car, it’s got that AWD, turbo 4 banger and just a nice wild Super Silhouette kit, obviously.
Picture taken by Go Go Drive’s photographer
This car surely didn’t dissapoint the HNC crews, it got that fastest time on this session, thanks to AWD and just good engine tune and power delivery from it.
HNC has decided to choose this car.
Good write up! The Riviera engineers are gonna go back home and try to learn from their mistakes.
Woah, didn’t expect to have the 2nd fastest time overall!
TurboBox go BRRRRRRR
No fucking way I got the fastest car. No fucking way man, holy shit
also GT500 car goes BRRRRRRRRRRR
unless I don’t get judged for whatever reason, I have a feeling that is incorrect
lmao
I had a good laugh while reading “aerobox” I saw this challenge and there was 4 hours left to deadline but I really wanted to join so I modified one of my cars. I’m looking forward to read the second part, I wonder who will win!
any news?
Well since the recent update make my computer’s a lava pit, the next part will be expected dropped when they fix this issue.
Heh, will the Niata be the first car to be entered in two separate challenges and not get a final evaluation in either?
hold on, are submissions still open or have y’all forgotten to update the name?
Its closed since a while ago so probably the host forgot to change it.
are part 2 still coming or this dead?
Oops I deleted this part accidently lmao
Somehow my car is still the fastest haha, very close from p2, good job @ldub0775 on the car, too bad the trim et is a bit too high
