God dang, thatâs clean. Gonna be his new daily?
Oh no, she dailies a 2019 Mitsubishi Space Star (or Mirage, as they say across the pond). Thatâs her summer car. They fucking love road salt over here and itâll make the car go from red to brown real fast.
Weâve pretty much sorted out the mechanical issues already so Iâd say the biggest faults it has is the lack of trunk cargo cover, and the air controller unit is missing the A/C control knob.
Cool! Good for her! Where I am, it gets pretty cold in the winter so we also get a lot of salt. But our summers are very hot and very humid at the same time. So we get the best of both worlds.
In California itâs just hot. We havenât had snow in our area in about 35 years
I specifically told my siblings to kill me if I ever did this. But you do you I guess.
You mean the old definition right? âŚRight?
My Renault? Not french enough
I fix now big in french
Also steering wheel cover??? He is big in dirt
I clean
End
This gives me physical pain.
Nice job!
Oh, I rather quite like the French flag air duct idea. Itâs whimsical yet very on par for a Twingo.
Nice to see some Luxembourg patriotism from time to time.
A 40-something guy walked past it and said âThat looks really nice! Lâitaliano!â To which I replied âThatâs flag of France but thankfully this isnât a biology lesson.â
After that I realized that they donât teach geography in biology class.
You never fail to give me an aneurysm
This motherfucking car is driving me crazy. And it doesnât even fucking drive.
Changing the suspension shit, fucker is stuck as fuck and wonât leave without violence.
Happy now? Are you fucking happy now??? All this fuckery and I still got you out. Weakling.
Shit looking horrible , took it off.
Painted it, now itâs black like a, uhh⌠Black like the colour black.
Iâve been pouring my life savings of energy on these fucking brakes.
Had to replace the brake cylinder. Well that motherfucking thing wouldnât come off. And when I finally get it off, it cuts the fucking brake pipe in half. Had to make a new one.
Bought a new brakes cylinder, everything else was fine so I just cleaned the old parts.
Edit: I nearly forgot the obligatory Peugeot pic.
Now on an unrelated note, some fuckers decided to cut down a tree right next to my Twingo. Unfortunately they didnât bother letting me know, so now the twingo is covered in sawdust. I wouldâve moved it otherwise!
That tree gave me great shade during the summer! Those bastards!
The End!
So! I washed the sawdust off of my car today, and I noticed scratches in my bumper.
Now, Iâm no detective, but prior to them cutting down the tree the bumper was fine. And I certainly havenât hit anything. So I put 1 and 1 together, the answer is three, so I called the maintenance company to ask about the tree. They confirmed that it was indeed cut down, and gave me an email where I can voice my complaints. I sent them a really kind e-mail (no really, it was actually a kind e-mail), and asked them to reimburse me for the cost of repair. Which was 11,81âŹ. Thats 4,49⏠for pink spray paint and 7,32⏠for driving to the spray paint store. Itâs total of 12,4km and in Finland one kilometer by car is worth 0,59âŹ. Much to my surprise, they actually did pay it.
So! I got my spray paint and painted the bumper. Again.
Unfortunately, I feel like the shade of pink is slightly off. So what I might do, is remove the bumper and paint the whole motherfucking thing pink. Any suggestions? Should I keep it pink/black or go all in and make the whole bumper pink?
I canât actually see any discoloring in the paint. That doesnât say much for a cell phone photo though.
If you painted the whole bumper pink, then you wouldnât be able to bump stuff without scratching it again. But like if you can get whoever bumps you to pay for it then thatâd be great!
Yeah I canât see it in that picture either, I took it from a good angle, I must say. Itâs clear in person, though. Either way, I feel like painting the pink stripe again to get rid of the discoloring. However Iâm kinda lazy and I kinda donât want to cover the bottom half so I might just sand it and paint the whole thing.
