Despite Holton Motors being established in 1948, the Holton Heavy Equipment Company (HHEC) has been is business since the 1890. Making everything from steam engines, to excavators, bulldozers, heavy duty diesel trucks, tractors, and even combine harvesters. 1948 however was the year HHEC decided to enter the passenger vehicle market and started the Holton Motor Vehicle Division (or simply Holton Motors). From the humble beginnings of fleet truck production to helping pioneer the SUV, Holton Motors grew to become a company analogous with dependability and reliability.
