Hot Hatch Cup - Race 2 Results!

So I know I haven’t really been checking my entries, and I know that the submissions close today, but if you sent in a submission which I did not check and something happens to be incorrect, I’ll give you extra time equal to the amount of days sent prior to the deadline, e.g. If you submitted 2 days ago, and I didn’t check it, you get an extra 2 days to fix your submission. Luckily, most of the extremely time-consuming work I’ve had for the past week or so is now over, so expect more prompt replies and no random delays.

Oh, and I’ll start a new thread for the races, since this ones title might be a bit misleading now.

Echo, I think you can just rename the first post and this should allow you to reuse this thread.

Yes, you can simply edit the first post from “Accepting Entries” to something like “Entries Closed” or “Race One”, etc.

Noooo nonononono in my time zone there is still time and I’m just finished tunning… Can I still join?

Well, what we meant was, you can edit the TITLE (Subject line) of the first post. Including it in the body is also good, but the title is the first thing people will see. The body isn’t visible until the title is clicked upon.

Didn’t realize I could edit the subject of the initial post, and just send your entry in - I’d prefer an even number of entries anyway

We are all here to help!

Is my entry accepted or do I need to make any adjustments to my hot hatch?

I’m fairly sure that you didn’t send an entry in, (I couldn’t find you anywhere in my inbox), and it is a bit late now as the first race will be starting soon.

ooohhhh shiii… I swear I did (it was my fist time exporting cars so yeah) but as I take a look in my “sent messages” there is nothing… oh the horror

23th, no Results yet? I hope the race didn’t got cancelled because of bad weather :unamused:

Well, if it helps it’s been cloudy and wet over where I’m at :stuck_out_tongue: seriously though, I have my thesis project interim presentation due this Thursday, as well as a fluid dynamics lab report, so I don’t think I’ll be able to do much apart from check the forums till that’s out of the way. I promise I’ll get the races done this weekend though, since I’ll have some room to breathe.

It’s ok by me if you let me in

Hey guys, I got all of the results in, save for one, (file got corrupted as I was doing the races). I somewhat rushed and got the results quickly since the new patch is coming really soon, but i’ll be releasing them slowly - 1 race result per week for a sense of realism, and to make it less spammy. First results will be in as soon as I contact the ones who’s car got corrupted and run it through the races, because my computer hates automation, (and at times, everything, including itself).

yup preparing my butt up for im gonna lose this arent i

I really hope comfort is not apart of this challenge because my car is less comfy than a old church bench

Results for the first race are out! There was quite a large disparity in how fast the cars were, which I suppose is in part due to the rules being relatively relaxed. The next results will be coming in in a few days time, but for now, congrats Asdren on winning the first race!

800cc v6 turbo’s are bad to the bone :geek:

oh wow i got points  that’s good news at least

btw how is the race calculated again?
