In the game the interior, it looks to be made of metal but in cars in real life, I don’t see any metal, it’s usually some sort of cloth or fabric, and I don’t know what to do with the driveshaft in the middle, is there some sort of action I should do to make a good looking interior

In general, the exact types of interior fixtures you should use for your car are highly dependent on its type and era.

When making a door card, it’s recommended to actually make the card smaller than the size of the door, because even if it does not exist in game, there has to be some space for the inner part of the B-pillar and also the inner side of the door is also smaller than what you see from the outside. I’ll give you an example.
As you can see, the door card is slightly smaller than the door, so it fits more naturally into the interior of the car.
