how
try
harder
Its actually very easy - build a car and look on weight distribution stat, and then you know where it has to much or not enough. More seats and shift it to the back, a heavier engine to the fron.
- Make as small an engine as possible.
- Load the car with as much luxury trim as you can.
- ???
- PROFIT
My question is why would you want 50/50? Some cars do better with more weight over one axle than the other so a 50/50 would hurt their performance.
try harder. make it better do it faster. make it stronger.

Damn it!! Now I got that song in my head!!
Here’s my tutorial:
-
Build car with 50/50 weight distribution.
-
???
-
Profit.
In all seriousness, you just have to experiment with different settings to get what you want, it’s what we all do
well i guess everyone is brainless on this one. but don’t you worry mindless ones. i wil figure it out
I guess no one can be bothered to help you
Gee, if that’s your attitude, forget it!
I’m not sure if you’re doing this on purpose, but you’re coming across really rude not only towards certain people, but towards the whole community. Here’s my first and final warning. Please stop insulting people.
You already have 2 warnings, and 3 strikes means you’re out.
I’m personally really looking forward to seeing this mythical 50:50 car
(unless captaindoom is talking about how to edit the .lua file to change the position of the engine relative to the axles, which, I suspect, would cause all kinds of havoc.)
We are so brainless, yet, we didnt start a thread asking a question that has no clear cut answer…
bazinga
Seriously? This thread is ridiculous. And the owner’s rudeness too. Calling the whole community stupid and mindless is something that i don’t approve of.
Pretty sure you could make a 50/50 FR car in Automation. But you’d need a small engine!
I think the original M3 had close to 50:50, that one had a “small” 2.3 I4 16v.
50-50-distribution.zip (28.4 KB)
Powered by a 1.1L turbo I4 mated to an AWD gearbox. I know it isn’t super impressive, but I made it in less than 15 minutes so…whatever.
Well, this looks like a bit more of a lark than I thought it’d be.
Challenge accepted.
haha strop!
it wasn’t a challenge shot across the bow or anything.
