Introductions

Ok you got me
My brother (Carcenomy on the forums) has been talking about this awhile, and given our mutual love of Street Rod and Detroit its a small miracle I never looked until now.
I played with the demo for about 5 minutes and pre-ordered, really looking forward to seeing how this progresses! If there is anything I can do to help let me know.

As for the introduction, I am a 34 year old who grew up in a tiny town in New Zealand, skipped across the pond to Sydney for about 7 years, and recently buggered off to Hannover, Germany for a few years.
In my spare time I mostly watch excessive amounts of movies, play more than a healthy amount of various styles of game, and roam about Europe like a filthy gypsy. (when I am not working providing technical & pre-sales support for Konica Minolta Europe)
Cars I have owned, a 1985 Honda Prelude, a seriously farm thrashed when I bought it 1989 Mazda MX5 (of the Eunos badged variety), and a 2000 Mazda MX5.
Not entirely sure what I will end up with while I am in Europe, I am considering an Audi A3 1.8t.

How did you find us? Well, I was searching Car Tycoon Games, and BAM! Automation comes up!

About:

Iā€™m a 16 year old Jack of all Trades who likes pretty much everything, and knows pretty much anything related to pretty much everything due to Aspergerā€™s Syndome. I have really been enjoying the demo, creating my own engines from budget 2013 models to beefy 1970s models, havenā€™t preordered yet though, Iā€™m waiting for a few weeks so I have my payment (Centrelink, Iā€™m susceptible to outbursts and canā€™t work for a boss, Aspergerā€™s again).

I have had a passing interest in cars for a few years, my younger brothers, mumā€™s brother and most of dadā€™s side of the family are massive car nuts, so Iā€™ve been learning a bit from them. After playing around with the demo and tutorials, I have actually learned more in 2 hours, than I have ever learned in 16 years!

How did you find us? I discovered Automation on Steam Greenlight. It was love at first sight.

About:
I am Dave. Iā€™m 19 and currently a student attending a local college in order to get an associates degree in science. I plan to transfer somewhere else after that to study for a career in something (some plan, right??). But, itā€™s not like I donā€™t have any sort of plan in place. I will most likely study for a career in the automotive industry. However, I have also been considering a career as a commercial airline pilot or a IT professional. Weā€™ll see what happens. Regardless, I would like to study abroad at some point during my college education.
Cars have always been a major part of my life. I currently have a Pontiac G5, which is just a better looking (imo) Chevy Cobalt. Even though it isnā€™t exactly the fastest, or coolest looking car out there, I love it. Itā€™s fun to drive and easy on the wallet.

About:

Iā€™m a 27 year old newlywed (may 2012) to a wonderful wife who shares a lot of my interests. I love technology and motorsports. I come from a automotive background as my family has owned an autoshop for 25 years. I got into the computer field not long after the 386 pc was introduced and started working in DOS and have continued since then.

After seeing the game on greenlight I did some googling and was quickly brought here. I saw the option to pre-order and before even trying the game decided it was worth the investment. I pre-ordered a couple days ago and tried the game out for the first time last night. Before i knew it 3 hours had gone by and it was way past time for me to go sleep! Looking forward to doing more than just the free play when i have time.

About:
Iā€™m an absolute fanatic when it comes to cars and commercial planes. I love them to bits but cars are just that bit closer to you in every day life. Iā€™m a massive fan of the Inline 5 Audi engine, one of the best in history IMHO. My father had an Audi 100 C2 with 2.1 5cyl engine, I will never forget it . I absolutely love the sound, also I do not mind Volvos at all, I actually am kind of sad that the C30 is going out of production, anyway I am 18 years old for a couple of weeks now and live in a smallish town of New Ross, Iā€™m finishing this school in a little over a year and I hope to do Computer Game Development course in a college. I will probably move out of here as soon as I finish it. Whenever I get to getting a license and buying my first car I would love to buy a 83 or older Austin Mini, for a couple of reasons, but mainly that I love the look and the general idea of the good, old, classic car which drives like a go-kart
