JR460 - The Lynx That Purrs,Then Pounces

Introduction:

The JR460 is not a car that shouts for attention. Itssilhouette is round , almost plain—-deliberately understated. But beneath that unassuming skin lies a machine built by Lynx lndustries to redefine the grand touring supercar. Mid-engined ,yet engineered for blance over bravado, the JR460 is a two-seater that prizes smoothness as much as speed, and composure as much ascornering bite.

Power train - The Heart of the Big Cat

At its core sits a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated v12 VVL ,comdenamed LR12-GER This isno brute-force turbocharger;it is a precision instrument. Peak power arrives with a spine-tingling 12,000 RPM redline, and the engine responds to the throttle with the immediacy of a muscle twitch. Yet, thanks to the VVL’s flexibility,it can cruise with docile civility when the driver chooses restraint.

All Wheel Grip, Rear Wheel Soul

Power is fed through a sophisticated full geared limited-slip differential system. This is not an AWD setup that numbs the steering; instead, it biases torque rear ward, preserving the playful , over-the-rear-axle character that mid-engine purists adore. The gearing is tight ,the shifts crisp, and the traction relentless—launching the JR460 from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.4s, and onwards to a top speed of 350kph(217 mph).

Rid and Handing - The Deceptive Grace

Where many supercars punish your spine, the JR460 coddles it. The suspension is tuned moderately soft, with long-travel dampers that absorb road imperfections without wallowing. Steering is precise but not nervous , and the chassis exhibits a mild understeer tendency–a dedliberate choice that makes the car feel secure and for giving at everyday speeds. Downforce only 100kg; the JR460 generatesmechanical grip through its carefully weighted suspension geometry rather than relying on aggressive wings and splitters. This means it remains predictable on bumpy back roads, and even with ageing sport tyres, it can hold its own against rivals with far superior power‑to‑weight ratios—simply because it uses every ounce of rubber with uncanny efficiency.

The Luxury Within – A Cabin That Cares

Step inside, and you are greeted by leather, Alcantara, and machined metal—no gaudy screens, just essential instruments and tactile controls. The seats are sculpted to support your back during long drives, and the suspension’s gentle compliance, combined with the engine’s silky torque delivery, transforms motorway miles into a meditation. The JR460 can, when you wish, stalk the road as quietly as a lynx peeking at prey—a relative quiet, of course, for a V12, but impressively subdued for its class.

The Warning – Never Mistake Kindness for Weakness

But this car is, ultimately, a big cat. During development, numerous test drivers were seduced by its smooth, gentle manners. They pushed harder, chasing the limit, believing the JR460 would warn them with squealing tyres or a sudden breakaway. They were wrong. When you probe its true bottom line—when you ask for that last 10% of cornering speed or that late‑braking miracle—the lynx reveals its claws. The transition from mild understeer to sudden, snap‑oversteer is abrupt; the recovery window is narrow. Many have spun before they even realised they had crossed the line. The JR460 will not scream at you; it will simply let you make a mistake, and then it will punish it with the cold finality of physics. It is a car that demands respect—not fear, but the kind of respect you give to a wild animal that has allowed you to pet it.

The JR460 is a masterpiece of duality: gentle tourer and ferocious predator, luxury lounge and precision scalpel. It is for the driver who understands that true performance is not about lap‑time bravado, but about the dialogue between man and machine—a dialogue that, in this car, is always honest, but never forgiving.

At the very least, this is a lot closer to what the Jaguar XJ220 was originally meant to be before they insisted on making it even more like a Group C racer with a twin-turbo V6 engine driving just the rear wheels, instead of all four at once.

It’s also a pity that couldn’t win the LeMans 24H due to being played by French. But I still really Like the XJ220S GroupC racing car.

The RWD version of this car is also terrifying and a bit slippery, so you can see God directly.

Besides, I originally planned to use this car to participate in the “the-speed-ep1-auctions-open” event, and it almost perfectly met the requirements (most likely the fastest and easiest to drive car), but unfortunately I couldn’t make it to the event

You did miss the window to submit a car, but you still can participate by bidding on a car in the auction.

Yes,I am planning to participate in the event thorugh an auction house.

I feel that many cars have good potential, and I am confident in tuning the best part of the car to speeds that may even be unimaginable to their owners.

Yeah, most of the cars do have potential, do feel free to join in on the auction fun. As it’ll be an amazing story to remember :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
