Ketchup's Car Remakes

Recently I decided to return back to 4.24, and port most of my old cars o 4.27 for a proper remake. I decided I wanted to make a thread and share most of these cars as I slowly remake them to how I make cars today, as most of these cars are well over a year old. So far i’ve sent all of these cars to the car save export folder, counting to 257 cars :skull:.

Sadly some of these cannot be remade, as the 4.24 car body mods have been removed from the Steam Workshop along with all the 4.24 mods, and weren’t updated so i cant identify the body.

Silica Reflection, this car body mod no longer exists

Omota Stationary ElectriQ Concept, this mod also no longer exists

These bodies also break upon trying to modify the car, leaving you with a mess of fixtures and broken drivetrains and wheels.

Welp now i have to wait about an hour and a half for automation to go back to 4.27, then i’ll start up a car and hopefully keep this thread updated!

I do have a bunch of other remade cars, one i did recently from a 4.24 Beamng file.

If the body set used in a 4.24 build has no equivalent in 4.27+, using the closest one for the remake is the best option.

Starting right out, i’m doing these at random by whichever of the 257 cars i click on. I ended up with a Mid-size wagon with only the front done in the average starter red. The front reminded me of my Omota brand’s design language, so that’s what I went with.

What I started with, my old obsession with Solid Axles is shown on this lmao.

In a relatively quick time, I started right up by doing the design. I start with base models and plan some trims and a Facelift, as the wagon is a relative of the Australian Omota Raven. The Rotate wagon model hadn’t been created yet, so I chose this name.

I was very happy with the outcome of this car, reviving a project that has sat unfinished over almost 2 years. Next car will be chosen soon!

Definitely what i’ll be doing lol

Not bad, has an identity on its own, yet some touches of Mitsubishi, Stagea and Opel Vectra. A solid 00s wagon design.
