About us
Keystone automotive group is made up of 4 parts (Parts and distribution, luxury department, performance department, and economical department). All 4 Departments are apart of a 4 way partnership between separate companys all owned by Keystone Automotive operations inc.
Parts and distribution is handled by Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc., based in Exeter, Pennsylvania and is the leading distributor and marketer of aftermarket automotive equipment and accessories in North America. Started over 40 years ago in a small town in Pennsylvania as just as a small parts store. Keystone slowly grew to become the largest distributor and marketer of aftermarket automotive equipment and soon wanted to expand further into the automotive world and acquire a small automotive company. With origins in the performance world it made sense to seek a more performance based manufacture thus was how Arrow Motorsports was founded.
Arrow Motorsports history and origins
Arrow Motorsports was founded by 4 young gentlemen in a small town outside Tampa FL. These 4 men had particular skills that made the company a major success. Rcast the brains and automotive talent behind the operation was responsible for design and initial building of the vehicles. Mark the marketing and sales guru of the group was responsible for adverts and getting the cars sold and making connections with possible clients. William who was the real estate master of the bunch was responsible for finding locations and buildings for the operations. And Finally JP the main connection was responsible for making the fiances work getting sponsors and partnerships. With all the major talents there was no shortage of automotive and performance passion between the four and it all started from just an idea lets all build a car to compete in NASA time attack just for fun.
The car that started it all
With limited resources and time they had few options but one stood out the most there was a 91 RX-7 sitting on the corner a few blocks away and with Rcast’s prior experience with them it seemed perfect. They acquired the car for a measling 400 dollars and soon found out why it was sitting for so long the engine an original turbo 2 motor was completely worthless after years of neglect the rotor housings were completely destroyed and with the limited budget a new 13b was not an option. So with an extra Mazda miata engine laying around they had an idea how about a turbo 1.6L RX7 cool huh and would be under the 250 HP limit for the class. so the work begun They tracked down some cheap performance parts pulled some nice shocks and springs off a local RX7 in a junkyard welded up a new front end and even re purposed an old 90s volvo turbo and mounted it on the new power plant. After months of prep the car was finally finished.

The car Boasted an impressive 240 HP weighed in at 2300 lbs and was incredibly fast for its class and went on to win its first race. After the first race weekend it became real what the 4 had done and someone even offered a huge amount to buy the car thus Arrow Motorsports was created. With limited resources at first they came up with a plan lets take all of the old 90s Japanese sports cars everyone likes and lets make them better. They wound soon strive to keep the passion of the 90s what some consider to be the greatest time in morotsport and begun to modify these iconic sports cars to what they would be today if the passion was still there and some crazy things were done. After the success with by order track day cars they wanted more and with the close relationship with keystone Automotive operations which was one of the sponsors of their own race cars they decided to partner up and build consumer track day and performance cars for the masses and even create their own designs… To Be Continued…
